Great set up.
Sam and his team were extremely helpful and thorough explaining all our options to ensure we choose the correct flooring and colour to meet our needs.
I am awaiting a quote but their prices seem very reasonable against some of the other places I have looked and its a local company which is very important to me.

I got sent two samples instead of three…
I got sent two samples instead of three as one out of stock but I was disappointed I didn’t get a similar replacement and also the samples I did get were so small that I couldn’t get an idea if I liked it in the rooms I want to lay it.

So far so good!! All samples delivered within a reasonable time, unlike some!! All requests have been met. Yet to make a decision , but those samples received appear to of good quality and finish.

Excellent advice on type of plank…
Excellent advice on type of plank required for look I wanted. Good size sample. Order was kept until I needed it and then sent out, unfortunately the courier company let TWF Co down and order was delayed, however David sorted and was only a day late. My joiner said flooring was good quality and easy to fit. Overall the floor looks great fitted and I would not hesitate to recommend The Wood Flooring Co.

Very disappointing experience- company…
Very disappointing experience- company has no care for customer service - even after their error. Placed a large order on 13th May, was told all in stock and offered a delivery date. They emailed 15th to say something not correct in stock held in the warehouse and hence delayed until after 22 May. Lost time at work and lost fitter. But I thought OK this can happen and asked for delivery before end of May, was told no problems for 30th or 31st. Company called on 26th to ask me to either pay more for delivery for 30th and they could not guarantee delivery for 31st. Even though delay was their fault. Have decided to cancel whole order as trust is broken... lost faith that after service would be rubbish. Earlier posts also express poor logistics.... please avoid this company as they break agreements.

We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience. It is true that we did not have stock when you placed your order, however you were contacted the very same day and notified that we were expecting stock w/c 22nd May. You asked if it could be with you by the 31st May at which point you were told that we would try, but certainly no guarantees could be made until we had your material in our warehouse.
Your material arrived with us that week as anticipated and you were promptly called to arrange delivery. Our standard delivery is 2-3 days, which would have arrived to you between 30th May - 1st June (the 29th was regrettably a bank holiday). However you stated that if you didn’t have it by the 31st May you would cancel the order and reject delivery. Although the order would most likely have arrived with you by this date, this is not something we could guarantee since deliveries are unfortunately out of our control. We gave you the option of upgrading to Next Day delivery but this was not something you wanted to do. Consequently you opted to cancel your order.
We regret the misunderstanding in this case, however we believe we have been extremely transparent regarding the lead times throughout the order process and did everything within our control to provide an honest and efficient service. We strive to improve our services continuously and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

Let down by choice of courier
Let down by choice of courier. One week later still no floor and delivery was expensive but I do appreciate my order was less than the minimum order value.

Hi Tracey, we have looked into this and see that it was an additional pack that was sent out to you following your initial larger flooring order. We agreed to send this out via standard courier rather than on a pallet (our usual method of delivery) to keep the cost lower for you.
Unfortunately we have very little control over the courier network and sometimes delays do happen that are out of our control. We apologise that this was the case in this instance and hope you are pleased with your overall experience with our team.
