A company built on inflated claims, misleading postings, and little to no real value delivered.

My experience with Youth Group was extremely disappointing. The company presents itself as having far more reach, influence, and traction than actually exists. The metrics and audience numbers they promote did not align with what I observed in practice, which made it difficult to trust anything being pitched.

There is also little to no real service delivered by Jack Parsons and Leon Juice. Beyond surface-level branding, there was no tangible value, outcomes, or follow through. Job postings associated with the company appeared misleading and did not reflect genuine opportunities, which wasted time and damaged credibility.

Most concerning was seeing industry leaders brought onto their podcast based on these inflated claims. The representation of the platform’s size and impact felt misleading, and I believe guests deserve full transparency before being asked to participate.

Overall, Youth Group priorities optics over substance. I would strongly caution others to do thorough due diligence before engaging with this company.

Discriminatory preachers and liars - would give 0 if I could!

I'm absolutely disgusted with Youth Group and Duvet Flip. They preach about being "kind" and "inclusive," but they completely ghosted me after I told them I was epileptic and might need to work remotely.

I applied for a video editor job, did all their tasks, and then once I mentioned my disability, they disappeared. I sent e-mails with no response, and even tried reaching out on LinkedIn, only for them to block me.

This is beyond unprofessional; it's discriminatory and illegal. They're all about helping young people, but they couldn't even give me a chance? What a joke.

I've reported them to the EHRC, and I hope they get what they deserve. Avoid this company if you value fairness and equality.

I was initially worried after reading…

I was initially worried after reading some of the comments below, but after speaking with someone at Youth Group, I couldn't disagree more with the statements. It’s clear that many of these comments are from individuals who may have been rejected from the process.

Although I didn’t get the role I applied for, I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to applying for a job. The process was transparent, and I wasn’t asked for any unnecessary data, which is refreshing. What stood out the most was receiving detailed feedback — something so rare in today’s job market.

Youth Group is doing things differently, and I respect them for it. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating opportunities for young people, even if you don’t end up landing the role.

Highly recommend giving them a chance!

Disrespectful and arrogant

Disrespectful and arrogant - reached out to me as they wanted to speak to me for advisory support. I accepted and arranged a meeting with them. 2 hours before the meeting, they cancelled, no explanation - I followed up and asked why, saying it was quite disrespectful to cancel with short notice, no explanation and no apology. No response. Basically an arrogant ‘we’re better than you’ approach by them, and no respect for the business leaders that are willing to give up time to help what should be a good cause. However, reading reviews it seems the people they are supposed to support don’t get the support either. Disgusting.

Disrespectful toward candidates

It's super disrespectful to have a candidate jump through hoops downloading bits of software, editing sample pieces, making amendments, then having 2 calls to arrange a freelance trial project only for them to then back out after a week of ghosting.

The company claims to care about mental health and empowering the youth yet they either have no idea how it feels to be made to think you're close to getting a job only for them to then leave you in the dust, or they just don't care.

Same experience as previous reviewers. Applied for a job through LinkedIn (the company now goes by 'Superhand.io') and received a message from CEO Jack regarding my application. He asked me to follow him and gave me an email address to send my CV to. From there, I was asked to register on their site as that is what they use to complete their interview process (seemed logical enough).

I then had quite a long chat via email with whom I assumed was their recruiter or talent manager, however they never shared their name? After filling out my profile on their website, I was ghosted.

Fast forward, and now there is no way of deleting my profile or removing certain information from their website. All information I shared is accessible via LinkedIn so it's not a huge deal, however it is concerning that there is no way to remove your account and it seems they only created the job posting to increase their user count and get information about job seekers.

Overall, really disappointed. Job seekers already have it tough- it's a shame that some people are taking advantage of that to boost their own success.

Scam Company - Shameful Practice by CEO Jack Parsons

As others have said its a scam company. They invite you on Indeed to an interview, to first fill out a profile.

After that no interview is incoming, meaning I wasted my time and effort.

This Jack Parsons CEO, if he is legitimate, should be ashamed of himself posing as wanting to good with the youth when they are fooling jobseekers. I even tried to contact them with no reply.
