Thompson Oxford 

Bought in good faith but I now realise they are fraudsters . My order for a “Cashmere” jacket was not what I expected- it was polyester and cotton and if no quality whatsoever - more like a felt Santa jacket the cheapest of cheap. As for closing down now know this is untrue they don’t operate from Oxford as stated but China . Out and out scammers! They take your money and send on worthless rubbish - they’re still advertising on Instagram - it needs closing down! Beware !!

Complete scam and concur with others. Cheap nasty fibres- no cashmere in sight. Man made and nasty. Bought as Christmas presents. Says I can return within 30 days. What chance of seeing any money back? Keep away at all costs

I ordered three items, two jumpers and a coat, all claimed to be cashmere. NONE was cashmere! Only one was decent enough to wear. The coat looked like a piece of rag.
I feel totally conned.

Appalled at the cheap, polyester sweater I received supposed to be cashmere. Also ordered a 'leather' trench coat.......Nearly had a heart attack when I took it out of its packaging. It was a shoddy PVC coat.....really cheap and nasty and smells of PVC.
I have never been so disappointed in my life.
I have sent two messages to Thompson requesting a refund and where to send the items back? As yet no response. There are no labels in the items of clothing. Looks as though they have been bagged up in some 'sweat shop' then sent out. This is defo a scam. I'm angry with myself for falling for this. Noted the same items are selling on Temu at a very cheap price, that says it all. Thompson...whoever you are, please respond to my emails. I want a complete refund. Thank you.

Ordered a cashmere zip jumper and what arrived was a low quality zip top made out of 95% cotton and 5% polyester. This company is a fraud. Probably mob owned. Don’t believe any of the positive reviews below this is clearly the crooks behind this operation trying to make it look legitimate. I am reporting their activity to the police.

Absolute RUBBISH Dreadful product - total scam - feel so stupid to have been taken in by them - HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH IT ?

This company is operating on a virtually fraudulent basis in that they are attempting to create the impression that they have a physical store they are being forced to close, hence the discount.

So for example I ordered an Alfonsa cashmere cardigan. What arrived was made of polyester and was certainly not shipped from within the UK.

I have just received two further items and these are not as advertised either.

A wilful, deliberate attempt to mislead and deceive customers to buy "discounted" products due to a store closure and subsequently ship cheap Chinese products is against trading standards. Avoid

The cashmere sweater I ordered arrived yesterday.

I echo the comments of most other people on here. The item you will receive bears little or no resemblance to what you ordered. A clear case of mis-selling and although I doubt it will get me very far, I will be reporting to Trading Standards.

When I first saw this company it advertised as a store closing down sale, this ad subsequently removed. This is simply a scam with a garment received unwearable and certainly not cashmere as advertised. I don’t think I can be bothered to return, as it’s simply a scam but I will keep as evidence as I will report this to the online fraud line . I don’t know how to get the current as’ taken off social media, but will investigate after Christmas . Can’t believe I have been scammed like this ! Please stay away !

I wish I had looked at these comments before ordering a satin shirt.
Absolutely shocking and no tags and label cut out from collar so was obviously brought from SHEIN or some other cheap place and resold. Now it’s proving hard to return.. only giving 14 days and want “tracking code “ wherever that’s situated as no paperwork!!

Cashmere sweaters? I would have preferred to have received nothing rather than receive this disgusting rubbish. I hope someone catches up with them and the tables are turned. Unfortunately I cannot print what I really think about this scum

Sadly I didn’t see these reviews before I also ordered 2 ‘cashmere’ jumpers. So embarrassed and frustrated that I fell for the sob story and supposed closing down bargain. How are these con sites able to continue posting and advertising?

This is a scam - the product is not Cashmere, the store is not closing and is a "drop-ship" operation and certainly no trading history as Thompson Oxford which sounds legitimate.

Annoyed that I did not check these reviews but I recall that they were not reviewed at the time of the order - lesson learned

If I could give no stars I would. Do not fall for the advertising (advertise on Instagram). I bought 2 Yolanda sweaters - advertised as cashmere. They sent XXL ( I ordered M) and the sweaters were very thin, shapeless and the label confirms made from 95%polyester 5%elastane. An absolute con.

Having waited several weeks to receive my cashmere jumpers they arrived today.
I am so cross with myself for not checking reviews - the four jumpers I ordered are polyester and something? They are absolute rubbish. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

Just received so called cashmere sweater which was ordered on the 2/12. No labels in it at all but clearly some kind of cheap polyester. Do not buy!!!!!!
Reading the reviews looks like I’m not going to get a refund either! Should be 0 star available.

FRAUD. Do not buy.

Bought a supposed 100% cashmere cardigan for thme closing down sale For £60 or so. It’s arrived after nearly a month, really awful quality looks nothing like the photo, you can’t tell it’s meant to be the same product at all. It doesn’t have an ounce of wool let alone cashmere, cheap synthetic sack, which smells dreadful like a rats died. If upset wait to repackage it and emailed them the same day to ask her refund and they start offering me 20% then 25% odd to keep it. I said I want a full refund I’ve been mis sold and they advised they are not offering a refund. Sham of a company, shameful behaviour. Buying cheap stock from some a sweatshop and drop shipping then refusing to give a refund. I hope all of this unethical behaviour catches up with them. Now refusing to answer my emails.

SCAM. BBC’s crime watch has been informed of this Canadian scam group. Do not buy items from this website. They are of terrible quality. It is a scam.
