Read thoroughly before hiring Moving Solutions.

Shockingly negative experience, questionably illegal. The police department told me they’ve received a number of similar complaints in the past regarding this company.

I’m a physician about to start working at a new location in the coming months.

I hired Moving Solutions to make a 201 mile move for a 1 bed/1 bath apartment. I called them and spoke with Patrick Sullivan (Senior Moving Consultant) and provided him with the details of my move and roughly the number of boxes needed

Patrick gave me an estimate of $2,698.10. My workplace got in touch with the company and paid the amount.

The day the movers arrived (in a U-Haul truck, not in a Moving Solutions vehicle) they take pictures and begin the paperwork with the understanding that final price may slightly vary from the estimate. With 75% of my things packed and moved out of the apartment - the movers tell me to Zelle “the remainder” of the amount; demanding an additional $3,400 ON TOP of the estimate that was already paid - for a total of over $7,000. They would not move any further items in or out of my apartment until receipt to their personal Zelle.

Ultimately, my company got in touch with Patrick. Moving Solutions had presented the initial amount as an “estimate” - NOT a deposit of any sort. Patrick falsely claimed that the actual amount of items I had far exceeded the amount reported in the estimate. He then proceeds to hanging up and blocking my company’s number.

Ultimately we had to pay the $3,400 in order to get my already packed things delivered.

The next morning, I called Moving Solutions with a different phone number. I proceeded to obtaining an estimate under a different name - detailing the exact distance, number of boxes, and exact items that had ACTUALLY been moved (no estimate, it was the exact stuff that had been shipped during the actual move) - I got an estimate for $2,798.83, and supposedly with further discounts it would be $2,300 roughly. I specifically asked if I would need to pay the actual movers in person - the agent said NO (inconsistent with my actual experience the day prior during the move).

I called Patrick Sullivan and I specifically asked him why there was a discrepancy between the my estimate and ultimate total cost - and why there was a discrepancy between the “estimate” I had obtained using a different name, and why I had to pay the movers separately. His response “well our agent didn’t know that you were going to do a sneak attack, did you read our reviews bro?” and hung up on me and blocked my number.

The team was super friendly and handled…

The team was super friendly and handled my furniture with care. I only wish they’d been a little quicker—I had to remind them about a few smaller items left in my old garage. But they were really apologetic and made sure to get everything in the end. I still recommend them because the quality of service was top-notch.

I was relocating from New York to San Francisco for work, and the thought of moving my whole life across the country was stressful. I reached out to Moving Solutions, and from the first phone call, they reassured me. They helped me organize everything, from the packing service to the specific timing of my move. The moving team showed up on time, were incredibly careful with my things, and checked in with me throughout the journey. I was so relieved when everything arrived safely and on schedule. TOTAL NIGHTMARE

TOTAL NIGHTMARE. THEY'RE NOTHING BUT THIEVES. They’ll arrive late, swap trucks in the middle of the move, and slap on extra charges for it. Then they’ll load your belongings onto an oversized truck that they claim can’t reach your destination, demanding even more money to transfer everything to a smaller one. By the time your things finally show up—if they do—you’ll find your most valuable items have conveniently vanished. This was hands-down the most horrendous service I've endured in 55 years.

My friend was moving and had set up…

My friend was moving and had set up moving date over 3 months in advance, paid a $2,000. advance. Her husband died. She tried repeatedly through phone calls and emails and NO ONE responded to her cancellation request. She even sent a copy of his death certificate. Moving Solutions NEVER refunded her money even though they promised and promised and promised. It's been since May and still no refund. Scammers. Stay away.

Best Moving Experience Ever!

This was an incredibly efficient and fun personalized move. The movers were so polite, diligent workers and took great care of all my things. They had no problems moving my bulky furniture and even helped me move it where I wanted. This was the best experience I have ever had moving and it will be a brand I always go back to. I recommend Moving Solution to all those who seek quality service!

Handled with Care and Precision

Over the years I've moved many times and this was hands down my best experience using a moving company. They proved to be a helping hand for me as it packed all my goods with care, in the safe direction and there was no harm. The team were thorough willing to undertake every task including setting my new home up exactly how I wanted it. They were also very courteous with my time and done ahead of schedule. I will very highly recommend them!

UNPROFESSIONAL & UNRESPONSIVE

We had a very disappointing experience with Top Moving Solutions, LLC. We have tried multiple times and different avenues to resolve this issue.
First and foremost, they failed to provide the service we scheduled. We reached out multiple times to inquire about the situation, but our requests were dismissed. It is incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark with minimal communication from their team and no response from the owner, Ryan Kunkel.
To make matters worse, we had requested a refund for the deposit due to their inability to deliver on their promise. Despite several follow-ups, we have yet to receive any response or money back. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.
Overall, we found the customer service to be extremely lacking. We expected a professional and responsive approach, but instead, faced silence and inaction. We will never recommend Top Moving Solutions, LLC to anyone looking for reliable service.

Save yourself the trouble and hire a reputable and honest company.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
I should have referred to BBB's consumer reviews. The review score about Top Moving Company is 1.02 out of 5 as of Sep. 13, 2024.
If you check by using 'Top Moving Solutions Reviews' or 'BBB Top Moving Solutions Complaint' in the Google search bar, you can see exactly how messed up this company is in providing services.
Two days before the scheduled moving date, the company asked us to change the truck size. It was the truck that the salesman had recommended when we signed on, but the person who called me insisted that we should trade it in for a larger size. Then, he asked for twice as much as the contracted amount. I requested a refund of the deposit, but my asking was refused. Top Moving Solutions only asked me to send them a cancellation request by email. On the day we were supposed to move, no one showed up and they claimed they sent a truck to our house. It was all false. I completed my move using another moving company. Top Moving Solutions seems to be a company that only takes deposits and does not provide services.

Worst moving company

Regarding "Top Moving Solutions", please see BBB (Better Business Bureau)'s customer reviews. According to BBB's customer reviews, it scored 1.03 out of 5 as of Sep. 4th, 2024.

In early August, my wife contacted the TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS sales representative and sent photos of all the items in our home. She also informed him of the size of the house and the number of rooms, and the sales representative assigned a truck for us. He said the truck would be sufficient to carry all our belongings, so we signed a contract on August 6th to move for $5700, with the move scheduled for August 14th. As part of the contract, we were asked to send the deposit ($2190) immediately via personal check, which we sent by taking a picture with a mobile phone. The deposit amount was withdrawn from the bank on August 7th. (At that time, we had received estimates from other companies, mostly around $6500. However, since they offered a discount and quoted $5700, we decided to make a contract with Top Moving Solutions.)

**Problem Occurrence:**
On August 12th (two days before the scheduled moving date), my wife received a call from someone claiming to be the person who would move our belongings, asking for the photos again. When asked why they needed the photos when they had already been sent, he insisted that he needed to see them. After sending the photos, we received another call shortly afterward stating that the contracted truck would not be able to carry all the belongings, and they would provide a new estimate. A few minutes later, we received another call stating that we would have to pay $11,000. We tried contacting the sales representative, but he did not answer, so we sent a text message stating that we did not want to talk to anyone else and preferred to speak with Ben. We also sent a photo of the complaint we had submitted to the BBB via text.

Several people called afterward, and eventually, we were contacted and offered a price of $7000. However, we no longer trusted the company and requested a refund of the deposit, stating that we no longer wished to use their services. The company's representative said they could not refund the deposit and asked us to send a cancellation email. We replied that we would send the cancellation email if they refunded the deposit, but our request was denied. We haven't gotten a refund ($2190).

In the end, we completed the move using another moving company, and after the move, we called Top Moving Solutions again, asking them to send us the contract, but they said they could not provide it. We asked to speak to the manager, but they refused to connect us.

On August 15th, we checked with the bank, and they suggested contacting the police. The bank representative also stated that we needed the entire contract, and when we informed them that the company was not answering our calls, the bank representative called TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS and asked them to send the contract to my wife's email. However, we never received it.

After moving, we visited the local police station, The police there also advised us to obtain the full contract, but despite our efforts, the company did not answer our calls, and the person my wife spoke to no longer answered the phone.

As a layperson who doesn’t know what size truck to arrange, we provided all the photos and house information to the moving company's representative, who assigned the truck. Two days before the move, they informed us that the truck they had chosen could not carry all the items, and they provided a new estimate. I believe this issue was caused by the company, not ours. It doesn’t make sense for them to claim that we canceled the service. Even if we had agreed to proceed with the $7000 offer, we were concerned that the company might cause further issues, such as damage to our belongings during the move, so we decided not to use them.

Please don't use this company.

(Date of my response, right after receiving reply from the company: Sep. 04, 2024) The TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS posted a response a day after I posted my criticism, but there is no other way to respond to the reaction, so I am posting here again.
I don't know which person in charge left the reply, but if it is true that it does not meet the company's standards and deceived the consumer as confirmed, please return the DEPOSIT you received. The contract was not completed due to the company's fault, so I do not understand why the consumer's DEPOSIT is not returned. If you really admit your company's mistake, I would like TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS to return the deposit I paid ($2190).

Moving Solutions was awesome! The team was quick, careful, and really knew what they were doing. Moving is usually such a pain, but these guys made it so easy. Can’t recommend them enough!

Overall, a good experience.

Overall, a good experience. The movers were careful and nice, but they did show up a bit later than expected. They made up for it with hard work, though. I’d still use them again.

I was told that my items would arrive…

I was told that my items would arrive by my move in date of August 9 by the broker Ben. They picked up my stuff two weeks ahead and when I called to see what happened; I was told that I didn't read the "fine print". The dispatcher was extremely rude as I tried to explain what I was told and that legally they weren't allowed to move the items out of Kansas City, MO until 30 days of receipt of the items. I am not paying for hotel stay, food, and other amenities because they have my stuff. I am not even sure when or if I will get my items based on their lack of response or concern. I reached out to Blue Diamond Movers in Norcress, GA (contracted to them) and they were just as clueless and unhelpful. I will probably need to seek legal counsel to mitigate this issue.

Our experience with Moving Solutions was positive. The crew was efficient and careful with our furniture. There was a slight delay in the start time, but the movers worked hard to make up for it. We would definitely consider using them again for future moves.

If you still want to book with this scam moving company even after the negative reviews on google, yelp, and BBB - I suggest you use a credit card so you have no issues getting your money back. They’ll try to say it’s an extra free for credit card, that’s how they get you to not use it therefore to keep your money! They gave us a quote for about $3,500 for a 5 hour move drive. We also provided a list of items we had that needed to be moved. Day of arrival , they were late and stated they needed an additional $4,000 to move all of our items. The workers were not interested at all to move our stuff as they suggested we should move it ourselves. The customer service was EXTREMELY rude!! They will intentionally quote you a lower price , make you pay a deposit (you’ll never get back unless you call your bank), and then try to double charge you to complete the move. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY FROM BEING SCAMMED!!! This company also changes names to avoid getting caught but the pictures always stays the same! BE AWARE!!
