During the renewal process
During the renewal process, the representative inadequately explained that the protection plan would reduce the loan amount. The presentation implied it was a standard offering, rather than an optional add-on. I was not given the opportunity to decline this protection, and had I been, I would have. My payment history has been consistently on time.
