I used TransferMate as part of my blocked account extension process through Fintiba. The customer support agents were friendly and responsive, and I appreciate that they always replied when I reached out.
However, the overall experience was frustrating.
It took 8 full business days for my transfer to be processed — which, under no circumstance, can be considered acceptable for a standard international payment in 2025.
While support was polite, their responses were often vague and contradictory — one day I was told the money had been received, the next day that it was still being processed. It left me with zero confidence in what was actually happening behind the scenes.
This delay put my residence permit and legal status at risk, and despite my efforts to follow all instructions perfectly, the slowness of the process made it extremely stressful.
I appreciate the professionalism of the support team — but TransferMate seriously needs to improve the speed and transparency of its internal operations.

After I made a mistake in selecting the payment method, customer support helped me to create a new payment registration. However, the agent seemed to provide some incorrect information; e.g. they said that CAD could only be paid via wire transfer but the selection page for payment options included other methods including payment by card.

Clear communication of needed documentation and of options for payment. I was able to speak with an agent in real time to receive additional answers that I had. Also the wire transfer cost is the best option for payment and is quickly processed.
