Transponder TV Avis 97

I heard nothing from Transponder TV about it stopping. Why, and what has happened, please? I receive it in Portugal normally.

I miss transponder had it for years, but sadly gone ,i paid through PayPal and got my money back . Now looking at trying britishtv.club.

i was really pleased with Transponder , good quick customer service and good reception and easy to use site until it all disappeared ! can't remember which card i used to sign up so looks like i will be paying forever ! gone with TV Mucho now but difficult to read and navigate channels , but it's certainly better than nothing !

Like some of you when Transponder stopped working I went in search of another provider. I chose HoolaTV. After less than a month of my subscription I am no longer able to sign in to watch programming. I am getting the "502 Bad Gateway" error message just like I got when Transponder disappeared. I hope this is a temporary glitch, Anyone else experiencing this?
It's Monday morning and HoolaTV seems to be back online. I hope it stays that way. I'm still angry that I had to miss the Crufts dog show this weekend!

Support emails to Transponder TV bouncing back - no longer working. I suspect that they have taken the money and run! Stop any auto renewal of your subscription.

It was great - But has totally stopped working for a good month now. I had repaid in January 23 and noticed as it went through Pay Pal that the person receiving the funds was MARY LANIER who has a gmail email - so I have emailed her on February 22nd 2023 to see what is happening and have not received a response. I can only hope that this is not a scam and certainly if any of you are on auto renew I would write to your bank to stop that.

I've had a great experience with Transponder over the months but for weeks now they're off line.
I'm going to contact my bank and ask the to stop payment to this 'Eurotelly' website.
I've found a new streaming website called 'iBox.ie'
You can access it through your TV browser or they also have an app.
It's fantastic, they provide 3 different subscriptions, and its cheaper than Transponder.
It took me weeks to find smth to replace Transponder. Thank god I found this.
I wonder if any of us will ever get our money back.
They should be reported.

After several years of good service they have had problems renewing subscriptions. then they could do it through eurotelly.com so now i have a subscription through eurotelly.com that I cannot cancel as they do not even have a website.

Transpondertv now doesn't exist so signed up to Hoolatv and so far have been very happy with it, the 16 hour recording facility is easy to use and useful having all the usual + 1 hour main tv stations.Try it out if you want to before signing up for €9.99 per month. Very like transponder with loads of channels.

I have uset Transponder for 2-3 years - fully satisfied and always Quick to respond if there were problems so this situation is so out of character. I have signer up to TVMucho - many
channels but i find it complicated navigating . You have to sign out of one device before opening in another i,e, iPad/iPhone, and you can’t minimize the screen while doing for example a c4ossword. I hear transponder tv was based in Ukraine so ……..

They have been offline for ages. There is always something wrong. Impossible to get hold of them through their website. I left a message on Facebook, telling them I wanted to cancel subscription and, not to charge me.
Anyone looking for a similar site, try TVMucho, and they are cheaper.
Would like to know if anyone will look into this site, I find them very good.

Transponder tv have had no service since early February. No prior warning and cannot contact them. I signed up to TVMucho and so far very good service and recording facilities. Would recommend them if you are looking for an alternative to Transponder tv.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a site similar to Transponder? After two weeks with no sign or word from Transponder I am giving up the hope that they will be back. They have my subscription which I won’t get back I’m sure.

Britishtv. Club looks ok but no recording facility. Hoolatv has a few bad reviews mostly about set up and payment of subscription

Transponder are not coming back, their website has been deleted from the internet, they have blocked all communication channels.
The British TV club is much better, I'm on a free trial and it works great unlike Transponder who have been unreliable for months now anyway.
I advise everyone in to visit britishtv.club as Transponder (who used to be called TV Catchup and they lost a court case) have either done a runner to avoid prosecution, or just were too shabby with too many problems and gone bust.

They used to be great. Now they are having major issues. They claim via a statement on FB on Feb 10th .... if this is to be believed, do we assume they will be back? There has been nothing since this last posting. I would personally feel better if they updated us more.

UPDATE: whilst we haven't heard anything from them regarding resumming..... they have been true to their word and have NOT taken any further payments.

As has been said already this site is not working. For what it's worth I have instructed my bank to stop any further payments to eurotelly.com!!

Same problem as everyone else. No connection. No trace of Tranponder TV site or even Eurotelly - the company taking my money!!! Even the email address shown on this site doesn't work!!!

I also got the same problem.
On my statement the company deducting the payments is eurotelly.com
but is also not reachable on the Internet. When calling up on the Internet the message code shows
403 Forbitten.
I also got no response to emails to transponder.tv

As much as i loved this site, it was only a matter of time before it was shut down being an illegal site!! Yes shock horror people :)
They have had to shut down for maintenance a few times over the years to ensure they don't give away where there IP address is lol but as the customer am sure we are always the last to know.

Same problems as others. The site will not respond. Is this temporary or permanent? The "company" could explain the situation to users, so we know if we have to look elsewhere. I've been using Transponder for several years.
