I had an amazing time and experience volunteering in Sumatra. Working and helping the local community, farmers, wildlife was the best highlight for me. The most memorable moment when I saw a family of wild orangutan eating wild fruits and live happily in the forest.

I Say it is a genius impactful and community-driven NGO, because their deep commitment to sustainability, their local empowerment and their environmental visions is very inspiring.What made Travel Roots stand out for me is also their approach! Instead of just offering aid, they teach and empower people and local communities with valuable skills like soap making, sustainable farming and reforestation!
