Kristen helped us plan our 2 week honeymoon to Sicily, and she thought of every detail! We met with her a few times over the course of a year, and she tuned into exactly what we were looking for. We ate at wonderful local spots that she found, had private tours in the different towns, and felt well taken care of at our hotels. Her help allowed us to sit back and relax during the planning and all we had to do was enjoy our trip! We will definitely use Salt and Wind in the future!

Definitely a family vacation we will all remember. Kristen took the time to truly understand our interests and specifically our 2 boys. We told her we wanted to eat our way through Italy, less "touristy", and get some unique experiences in there.
From private city tours where the guides she picked knew what was important to us, to pasta and gelato making classes, to still seeing all the main attractions, our 2 weeks to Venice, Bologna, Florence, and Rome flew by.
Everything was spot on and one of the best parts: low stress as parents!

Kristen at Salt & Wind just organized a 10 day bespoke private trip--starting from Tuscany, then to Portofino, Piedmont, and ending in Milan--for my family of four to Italy. It was one of the best vacation that we had for a long while. The itinerary was a careful blend of historical sites, nature wonders, local scenes, and fun activities. The hotels are great and the restaurants superb. Kudos to Kristen and her team at Salt & Wind!

Kristen and Salt & Wind Travel planned an exceptional Italy trip for us! We did not want to do all the research and figure out what to do, see and where to stay. Kristen did all this and more for us. She started out our initial meeting advising us on where to go and timing of this – suggesting we save Sorrento/Amalfi Coast for later in our trip because it didn’t fully open until May. Instead, she suggested we go to Bologna first. So worth it! After meeting with us to get to know us and our preferences, she arranged, perfect hotels, tours and meals for us that were fantastic. Also, we loved the app that had our itinerary and daily details. We will definitely use Kristen and Salt & Wind Travel again for our next big adventure.

Our trip to Italy was everything and more! From the very beginning, the planning process was so smooth and stress-free. Every phone call, recommendation, and detail was incredibly helpful and made us feel confident and excited the entire time. Any questions we had throughout the planning process were answered so attentively, which made the experience even better. Booking everything from the hotels to the restaurants and excursions was seamless, and we loved how organized everything was through the app. We also really enjoyed having DIY options built into the itinerary for days we wanted to explore on our own. We will absolutely be using them again for future trips and will be recommending them to everyone we know! It was such a memorable honeymoon 🫶

Kristin is amazing! She has planned multiple trips to Mexico, as well as trips to Finland, Japan, and France. I recommend here to everyone I know! Salt and Wind take care of the planning so you can just enjoy your trip! Worth every penny!!

Just returned from a wonderful nearly two week trip to Loire Valley, Normandy and Paris. (This is our third trip planned by Salt & Wind Travel in 5 years. Kristen helped plan two delightful trips to Italy previously.) Aida made many, many recomendations and arrangements to make the trip easy to do. Some extended family including children joined us in the Loire Valley and the accommodation, restaurants, activities and tour guides were all very good for the group. The Normandy portion included a stay at a very nice hotel in central Bayeux, a guided tour to Mont Saint-Michel and a guided tour to requested Normandy WWII sites. Paris was 4 days of seeing and doing things not seen or done before, including two guided tours and a wonderful evening at a restaurant watching the Eiffel tower lights glow and twinkle.

Salt and Wind Travel planned the dream two-week birthday trip for us in southern France. Every detail felt perfectly paced, with just the right balance of incredible experiences and time to truly relax and explore. Our accommodations were beautiful, and the itinerary connected us with thoughtful local experiences we never would have found on our own. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and we’re so grateful to the Salt and Wind team for bringing it to life so seamlessly. The communication was super prompt and professional, and even included a custom app that we relied on throughout the trip to give us the day-to-day details. Would absolutely use again!

Over the course of a few months, we had several meetings and stayed in touch regularly via email. Aida even checked in with us while we were traveling, which we really appreciated. Her support was especially helpful when one of our vendors unexpectedly canceled an activity and we needed advice on what to do next.
