CAREFUL - BEDBUGS!
Our stay at Tregenna Castle Resort was extremely disappointing. The most serious issue was that our son suffered multiple bites consistent with bedbug bites during our stay. When we reported the matter, management appeared more focused on denying responsibility than investigating the issue properly, suggesting the bites could have come from other insects or from somewhere else entirely.
What concerned us most was the way the complaint was handled. Communication was disorganized, and we felt our concerns were not taken seriously. Rather than showing empathy and taking ownership of a potential health and hygiene issue, the resort's response left us frustrated and disappointed.
The grounds and location may be appealing, but guest safety and customer service should be a priority. Based on our experience, I would urge prospective guests to carefully inspect their rooms and be aware of the possibility of bedbugs.
Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.
