TruGreen - Manchester Avis 3

The first year I got their mosquito defense it worked great, the only problem was one day as I was leaving my house in September, it was pouring rain and I see TruGreen coming down my driveway. I stop and asked him what he is doing and he replied spraying the mosquito defense...... in the pouring rain? So I told him it was so late in the season, we were all set and no need to perform the service. Don't I get a bill and he claims he came and performed the service. Not a very truthful company. So 2 years later we move and I decide to give them another chance because my child is allergic to bug bites. I am not sure if they are spraying water or if the bugs are resistant but (3) treatments and my kid is covered in bug bites and the last treatment was only one week ago today, $150 per treatment??? Needless to say I canceled and will not be getting their service again.

Zero stars if I could. Spent a couple of months trying to get a second service date after I already prepaid the entire year. Always got a service date, no one ever would show up. I was given lots of promises by customer service and nothing was ever done. After 6 weeks of phone calls and 5 promised service dates I finally gave up and got my money back, then was promised a free service due to all the issues I had dealt with, never got that either. Also was promised a manager would call me to talk about the issues I was having and give me a free service - that never happened. This has to be the worse customer service I have had in a long time, I DO NOT recommend Trugreen.

We contacted TruGreen in early April about aerating and seeding our lawn. They ensured us that they guaranteed their work and talked us into a full service plan for the year. Fast forward to mid-June and still no aeration or seeding. They came by to spread lime without testing our soil and sprayed some stuff to kill the crabgrass, which was pretty much the only green on the lawn. Since discovering just how bad their service is and how happy they are to lie about when they will perform specific services, we are cancelling the remainder of the service plan. Do yourself a favor and work with someone local that listens to their customers and has pride in their work.
