TruGreen - Orlando East Avis 6

If you’re thinking about using TruGreen for lawn service think again. Had a sales guy come and check the lawn he gave me a prepaid price that we agreed on, a few days later I check my statement and he went back into the system and charged me more. I called to cancel the service they offered me an even lower price than I was first quoted at so I agreed. Months go by I don’t see any improvement I called and told them what kind of grass I have they said they been using fertilizer for a different type of grass. I finally canceled with two months left on prepaid service was told I would get the remaining balance it took over a month the receive the refund and it was less than what they told me I was getting back. To make a long story short you’re lawn will look better if you take care of it yourself with less headaches

This company is too big to be effective. I live in Florida. When I called I was inquiring about crab grass. The woman on the phone insured me they would take care of that. When technician arrived he told me no way. The person you talked to isn't even in Florida. After several weeks my broadleaf weeds (which are treatable) are growing better than ever. They use liquid and all lawns are the same to them. When I called to cancel some person in Illinois told me that they do treat crab grass in Florida!
This company needs to consult with local folks.

I'm going on my 2nd yr with Truegreen and my lawn looks the same as when they started treatment in October 2022. When I called for a Specialist to come visit/talk with me, they just provided a second service free of charge and no one ever called nor came. It's so difficult to speak with someone face to face and discuss lawn concerns. Every time someone comes to "service" the lawn I am working, Since I am not seeing any progress this makes me think, is the work even being preformed. I have two different grasses on my property. My Bahia grass gets brown as soon as Truegreen treats it, while my St. Augustine remains the same with weeds and patching dry areas. Not sure what this company is applying that's not effective. I've called for the last time if this doesn't get resolved I will be looking for a new company.

They will only treat the front. They won’t even look at your backyard. They were at my fathers house for a total of 3 minutes and left. this is like the Uber of lawn care. This is a horrible company. I thank this company though, my father finally understands that you get what you pay for. He now has a honest and better service.

Terrible service. They advertise 1/2 price initial "service" which automatically includes other services. They tell you that you can stop service at any time, after first service as well, but this first service automatically signs you up for at least three more services. So instead of getting bill for first service, you getting billed for first service and three more services, while you are thinking that it is all included in initial treatment, because all that was done on the same day. In other words, they trick you to start service and not clearly explaining what is the plan and schedule. The ticket for the first treatment says that only fertilizing was done, which was throwing handful of dry fertilizers under my 2 small bushes and two small trees. "Service" lasted 6 minutes, according to their text messages.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever seen! Our grass died in the backyard and despite their guarantee, they did nothing to rectify it.
What is worse is that we have their pest service which we have been paying for for years. I got stung by 2 wasps 3 days ago as soon as I walked into my backyard. I called true green and they upgraded my service and they assured they'd send some one out immediately. They did take the money and sent no one. Three days later I got stung again. I called and spoke with 3 people and now they will not send anyone out for 5 additional days!
Had their pest service worked to begin with I would not have gotten stung. They are quick to take your money and offer nothing!!!!
