TruGreen - Pompano Beach Avis 6

South Florida area. I had positive results three years ago, so I tried them again this past year. My lawn actually got worse. I now have sedge and abundant goosegrass that I didn't have before, with significant patchy areas. The corporate customer service was terrible, although the local customer service was better. The technician I had for my final service was helpful, but he couldn't make up for the 8 previous, futile visits.

Trying to cancel the service is not possible on the website (my app hasn't worked since I restarted the service), so now I have to call during business hours to get the hard sell and excuses just so I can cancel. Would not recommend!

A wonderful man on the phone told me I would get a soil test, that they would see what kind of weeds and come up with a customized plan for my lawn. Guy that arrived was there literally 6 minutes, no soil, sample, no bending down to look at anything. Ran thru 4K + sq ft of lawn with a half full spreader in 5 minutes and left. They would not refund my money

The absolute company I have ever dealt with. I am new to their annual service plan. They have treated my ficus bushes 3 times and I still have white fly. The bushes were planted in 2005 and have looked nice all these years. Three months in and my ficus bushes are close to dead. I’ve been calling since Friday to speak with management and it is now Wednesday evening and I have not heard from supervisor and I’ve called multiple times on several days. Don’t waste your time or money with this worthless company.

Definitely would not have awarded a star, however, that was not an option.
I have lost my lawn despite paying up front for a year's service.
The servicing is never fulfilled or if ever at all. I have received excuses from my dog was loose (I do not have a dog) to my gate being unlocked. My neighbour watched a service tech stepped out of his vehicle, stuck his alleged "completed service" stake in my yard, got back into his vehicle and left.
It has been months since I been calling consistently to have a Manager come out to look over why I lost my lawn to Truegreen. I keep getting, "I will put in a request for a Manager to call you within 24 to 48 hours". Still waiting!

Update: Was contacted by Trugreen whereby a solution was reached.

Trugreen specialist #1 did not apply the complete property lawn care services I paid for or the "complete property" services he claimed to have applied on his service summary. Based on my camera's footage of two months services he only applied fertilizer and nutrients to the front of my property, nothing on the sides or backyard. Trugreen's customer service scheduled a free service (Sept) and a 50% off (Aug) which after meeting with specialist #2 to discuss the weeds that have now not been treated for a few months to 3/4 of my property he claim he did not have the chemicals in the trucks large tank to be able to treat the weeds and would have to apply chemical by a back pack sprayer. Because my landscapers were on site at the time he was to return later that day but did not and called to reschedule. I received a notification from a specialist #3 who claimed he completed the service to my property but never visited my home. The same specialist #3 was scheduled again and again claimed he completed the services but once again never visited my home. I've cxled my services with Trugreen and highly recommend if you are a current customer you may want to check if you are receiving the services you have paid for and if you are now considering hiring Trugreen I would reco you find an honest company for lawn care service.

You will not get the service you pay for.
I have cameras on my property and they do not service the entire yard. They service 1/4 at best and don't even enter the back yard most times.
On my last service they said they spread granulated pot ash with a spreader. Cameras show that is a lie.
They are thieves.
