Some initial results, but questionable marketing and disappointing customer experience

I used Fleur’s hair serum consistently for about three months and did notice new baby hairs growing in, so I do think the product had some effect. However, those baby hairs never developed into longer, fuller growth during the time I used it. I’ve since stopped using Fleur and switched to minoxidil.

That makes me especially skeptical of the before-and-after photos used in Fleur’s marketing. Some appear AI-generated or heavily manipulated, showing dramatic improvements in hair density within just two to three months that seem highly unrealistic. The brand also appears to use AI-generated UGC-style content. If the serum genuinely works, why resort to marketing that raises so many questions about authenticity?

The reviews on their website are another concern. The product page advertises 4.89 stars across approximately 2,300 reviews, yet the actual review section shows only 143 reviews and a five-star rating. Where are the other 2,000+ reviews, and why don’t the ratings match?

I also submitted a review on their website sharing my experience, including the initial baby hair growth. When I went back to check, my comment was no longer visible. I can’t confirm why it disappeared, but it certainly doesn’t inspire confidence in the transparency of their customer reviews.

Then there’s the $16 rollerball add-on, which is practically useless. The mechanism doesn’t dispense the serum properly, making it incredibly frustrating to use. I’m currently sourcing products and packaging for my own brand, so I have some familiarity with how inexpensive these types of components can be through suppliers like Alibaba. I can’t speak to Fleur’s actual sourcing costs, but charging $16 for what appears to be an inexpensive accessory that doesn’t even function properly is ridiculous. The markup is hard to justify when so little attention seems to have gone into the quality.

On top of that, my subscription was supposed to include a complimentary scalp massager, which I never received.

Overall, I did see some promising initial results, but not the dramatic regrowth advertised. Between the questionable marketing, inconsistent review counts, poor-quality accessories, missing subscription item, and disappearance of my review, I’ve lost confidence in the brand.

It’s disappointing because the serum may genuinely have some benefits. But a product shouldn’t need exaggerated before-and-after images or questionable review practices to sell itself. I’d much rather see transparent, realistic results and better quality control.

Scam

Worse customer service ever. They scam you into a subscription, then don't let you cancel whenever you want, continue to send emails to cancel and get emails back saying to wait 30 days, extend next delivery to 6-8 weeks. It's an ongoing battle to cancel. Their refund policy is a scam and no follow through. They continue to take money from your account even after you've asked them to stop subscriptions or cancel orders. And their product does not work, it's fake, zero percentages of ingredients.
