Well constructed course, presented in an efficient engaging format

Very engaging 2 day on line course; very well presented in a manner that kept the online participants engaged through out with a mixture of short team working tasks, games, presentations and breaks. Presenter was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, able to deal with and answer all manner of challenging questions from the attendees. The only reason I have not given a 5 is that there was limited information on techniques to use with the various aspects of SCRUM, such as how to set up planning or how to run review meetings. But that's possibly because my expectations were different from the course description, which I should have read in more detail.

Derek's extensive experience and expert facilitation made the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) course an exceptional learning experience. Derek demonstrated techniques that can be applied immediately on return to the workplace. I have already gained valuable insights from one of the exercises I participated in during the course and applied to my Scrum Team following the course. I would recommend Derek and the CSM course to anyone who wants to become a highly skilled and competent Scrum Master.

I really enjoyed this course and found it really engaging.

I attended Certified Scrum Product Owner training delivered by Derek Davidson. Derek delivered the content in a very engaging manner and drew from his own industry knowledge, helping to set context and provide a deeper understanding of the principles being discussed. The content was broken up with a number of activities that helped ideas to stick in the mind, exploring practical applications and scenarios. As a Product Owner I gained valuable insight into practical process improvements and a better understanding of how to be effective in my role.

Spanned over 2 days, this was a well thought session carefully planned to deliver learnings with real life examples and many practice activities to make sure we implement the concepts.
Derek reviewed our exercises, heard our thought process behind it and explained his thought process too, and he has real long experience that reflected in the complete process and helped me get a nice perspective.

Very knowledgeable trainer, patient enough to listen every question and answer them calmly while giving real life examples.

Overall, two days session was very useful, engaging (not a single boring/stressful moment) and gave me confidence that the learnings could very well be applied in my job.

This was my first CSM training course and I'm very impressed with the way it's been conducted. The course was very interactive and engaging. Our instructor Derek was always clear in his voice and instructions. He understood the questions very well and listened to everyone's queries patiently. Highly recommend!
