Excellent service from start to finish, they really care and understand the feelings involved in buying a property.

One of the best house purchasing experiences we have had.

I wanted to buy a home in Izmir so I searched the internet. I found that Turkey Homes is based in UK and I thought I will get a good service as the rules about real estate in UK is very strict as the case in Canada.
Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Turkey Homes introduced me to a developer in Izmir and I selected an apartment on the 7th floor of the building which was under construction. The leaflets and the web site of the developer showed a building with a Terrace on the roof and a swimming pool on the seventh floor. The net area of the selected apartment was71 Sq m. I signed the contract which stated that I will receive the apartment by the end of August 2019.
The apartment was finished by October 2020 (14 months late). When I measured the net area of the apartment it was only 62 Sq m and the building has no terrace on the rood and no swimming pool. The developer did not get the Residence Permit till today 8 March 2021 ( more than 18 months after the date in the contract). I contacted Olga of Turkey Homes by phone in October and he did nothing but referred me to one of his representatives in Izmir who in turn did nothing but advised me to go to court.
I called Olga twice on WhatsApp today (8 March 2021) and sent him a message but he did not answer. In a net shell, Turkey Homes just got their commission and did not questioned the developer actions or interfered on my behalf.

The worst of all, Turkey Homes is still advertising the same building on their web site and they did not stop dealing with such developer.

As all building projects go nothing runs as planned or perfect, But Mehmet form Turkish Homes in Belek has been with us 100% of the way (don’t worry leave it to me his standard phrase ) and true to his word he has worked endlessly to correct all the issues that you can expect on a new build project. We are very happy with our new villa and all the support we have received from and will continue to receive from Mehmet and Turkish homes through the warranty period and beyond.

After a few problems with my villa when i arrived in Belek,Tolga took a personal interest to resolve these and thankfully our villa is now perfect,hopefully next year Tolga will visit us and have a beer by the pool and look at the work we have done to make this into our beautiful family villa.

This was our second home purchased in Turkey and the first home in Kalkan. From the first moment we contacted Turkey Homes to the finality of purchase and every step in between, we were treated with respect, and we were listened to. Deborah stayed in touch with us throughout the process. However, our direct contact in Kalkan was Özkan. We can’t say enough good things about him; professional, attentive, knowledgeable about the area and real estate, and an honest person. He spent so much time with us, gave us excellent advice and was there for us at every step of this wonderful journey.

What can i say, we first met Mehmet from the Belek Office in September 2018, when we first had a look around some apartments which was a fact finding mission. Mehmet was friendly, helpful and not pushy in any way and gave us lots of information about the buying process in Turkey. We returned to the UK and with several new arrivals in our family, we had to put the apartment project on hold for a while. We then returned in October 2019 and met with his lovely wife Marina who showed us around some more apartments. She was also very helpful and did not put any pressure on us to buy. We did find an apartment that we both liked and we decided to put an offer in for our dream holiday home.
We then met with Mehmet and he guided us through the buying process, the whole thing was explained very well and made life so much easier, having someone who knew how things worked in Turkey. We are now the proud owners of a 2 bedroomed apartment in Belek. I would not hesitate to recommend Turkey Homes. Cannot thank Mehmet, Marina, Sarah and Tolga enough. We now look forward to many years of sunshine in our new home.

It is always a adventure to go off to another country to buy a property, we knew nothing about the process we just fell in love with Kalkan and knew we wanted a place there. They took us true the hole way, showed us the propertys untill we found exactley what we were looking for, gave us a great price and took care of the paperwork.
