Overall well laid out course and well run. It's informational based rather than experience based. So it's more getting into your brain and hoping it works out in practical experience.
Michael has gone through the material at a quick pace but interspersed his real-life experience into the training. He stops and asks for questions often, ensuring his students are not getting lost. He... Voir plus

It was an excellent course
It was an excellent course. Very clear and concise the way it was explained.
Huge let down
I previously completed a PMI non-boot camp directly with PMI, and the content taught there was far more comprehensive and aligned with PMI standards than what was presented today. Unfortunately, the instruction today fell short of expectations. The instructor primarily read what was on the screen and simply asked for approval to move on, offering little to no additional insight or explanation.
When attendees asked questions, they were not directly answered — the instructor often responded vaguely with comments such as “that’s what PMI wants,” without clarifying the reasoning or context. Additionally, the test questions used during the session were extremely vague and, although the instructor claimed they were from PMI, they did not reflect the same structure or clarity as those in the official non-boot camp.
I also want to note that I tried to cancel the class the day after I signed up but was told that I couldn’t. Given the poor quality of instruction and lack of value provided, this class was not worth what I paid. I would not recommend going through Tutorial Consulting for this course.
Overall, the session did not provide meaningful instruction or engagement and did not meet the quality I’ve come to expect from PMI-based training.
PMP Exam Prep
Instructor was well informed on material and could answer questions that arose. The class itself is a bit mundane, but I figure that of many training sessions.
Death by Powerpoint
The class is very informative, but the first half was definitely a PowerPoint overload, with no quiz time or knowledge checks. It was in the second half that we actually took a practice test, and by then, everything we learned on day one had gone out the window.
Disappointed
This was a four day class. The first two days were spent listening the the instructor read the slides as they were displayed. Explanation was very minimal. When questions were asked by myself or other attendees, the instructor didn't seem to have good answers. Mostly, the answer was "That's just the PMI way". The second two days were spent on practice exam questions. Again, questions were not answered. I am disappointed in the quality of the training.
Decent PMP Boot Camp
Decent Boot Camp - lecture material was dry but if you review and study on your own it is a good start to preparing for the test. Suggestions for additional resources and supplemental slides were useful for critical concepts.
Lots of new information
Lots of new information, was able to get some confirmation on methods I use as a PM. I recommend maybe shorter days because it was very intense, with a lot of information to cover over a short period of time. I would have liked longer time between classes so I could apply knowledge and understand it better. Thank you Tracy for your time and patience.
The class information will be helpful…
The class information will be helpful in studying for the PMP exam, but the way the class was administered was not as helpful. The instructor read from the slides directly, offering very little voice inflection. I am grateful for the information and discussion, but found the delivery difficult to stay engaged.
Study on your own, or go with other providers
I recently completed an instructor-led PMP prep course and wanted to share my experience for those considering it. The instructor was clearly well-qualified and knowledgeable, which was a definite strength of the course. They were responsive to questions and maintained a professional tone throughout. Unfortunately, the course relied heavily on PowerPoint slides, with the instructor primarily reading directly from them. There was a noticeable lack of real-world examples or situational context to help bring the material to life. This made the sessions feel more like passive lectures than engaging learning experiences. At the discounted rate, the course was acceptable as a benchmark or refresher. However, I would not recommend paying the full advertised price (around $1,000+), given the limited depth and interactivity. One major drawback was that the practice questions were based on PMBOK 6th Edition, not the current 7th Edition. This could be misleading for those preparing for the actual exam and expecting alignment with the latest standards. Final Verdict I’d recommend this course only as a supplementary resource or benchmark tool—not as a primary study method for the PMP exam. If you're looking for a more immersive, up-to-date, and application-driven experience, you may want to explore other options.
Great online class
Great online class, questions are really hard and the instructor always explained the concepts well. Hopefully, I pass my test! These test questions are definitely harder than other books I've gotten on Amazon so I'm pretty sure that I'm being prepared better.

Teacher was well informed on the material.
I would like to have a more interactive test that grades etc. for me.
Tracy is a good teacher. D.E.I. is not a good thing.
Tracy is a good teacher, she gets to the point and explains things well. i 100% disagree with the D.E.I. approach that PMI takes. This was a class my higher ups wanted me to try and i can honestly say i knew most of it being a PM for years, all the different departments and charts i have never and will never use. Coming from contract/specs are the bible in business, i can understand why the software sector is more forgiving as they deal with new things that have not been tried before. Having charts for certain scenarios and formulas to figure them out is appropriate for that field. Alas, i may only use 10% of what i have learned here. It is still more then i knew when i started.
College Course in 4 Days
College Course in 4 Days
Tutorial Consulting essentially condenses a 9-18 week college course into a 4 day, fast pasted curriculum.
Difficult, yet informational.
Tutorial Consulting Review
Tutorial Consulting Review. Extremely efficient. The tutorial was at a good speed and moved along quickly while ensuring each member understood the reasoning behind PMI. Tracey was straightforward, informative, and to the point. She would explain situations to help us to better understand the PMI concept. Her style of instruction is great as she shows how to "think" PMI and not to simply memorize the material. I would definitely request her as an instructor in the future. Her style and approach is positive and shows caring for the success of each individual.
Great Instruction and Class Interaction
I really enjoyed the class interaction and the opportunity to discuss answers throughout the course. Tracy did an excellent job explaining the course content and walking us through the answers—whether I got them right or wrong. She was patient, considerate of everyone's perspectives, and made sure to thoroughly explain things the PMI way.
The course covered a substantial amount of information over the four days, and we were also provided with details about additional resources to support our learning. Overall, I found the course to be a valuable investment of both time and cost.
PMP Training Course Review
I had a great experience with Tracy as my trainer. She is incredibly kind, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about the PMP material. That said, I think the overall course structure could be improved to support deeper learning and retention. A more effective format might alternate between lecture and case study application.
For example:
- Lecture to introduce new material
- Case study to immediately apply the concepts
- Lecture to build on the next topic
- Case study to apply the expanded material
This pattern would reinforce learning through practice instead of long blocks of lecture. Additionally, I recommend positioning the mock exam after participants have completed more interactive, scenario-based learning so it feels like a true assessment of understanding rather than a trial run.
Overall, Tracy’s teaching and expertise made the course valuable, but a more iterative and applied structure could make the learning experience even stronger.
Good Prep Course
The class was very good. Lots of information. The facilitator was very knowledgeable. Having a basic understanding of PMI and Project Management basics helps to get the most out of the course.
Instructor was well informed and…
Instructor was well informed and understanding but I would love for a more interactive experience. Tests that you can actually select and get results, and more in depth course rather than just a high level review of concepts. Would rather day 3 and 4 be less test questions and answers and more course deep dives. Overall I feel 50% more prepared for the test.
Good delivered of the material / Material can improve
Tracy was a great teacher, her knowledge and expertise is tangible and very useful to the class. The content of the training good. I believe there's room for improvement in the quality of the mock test questions. Several had typos, grammatical errors and were hard to understand, these type of errors in the questions reduce the overall confidence in the material
Good course. Might need to be a bit longer.
Class was somewhat dry for the first part but understandably so due to the material. Once we moved to the sample test questions and review, it was much more interesting and learnable. Instructor did a good job keeping the course on pace and recommending supplemental materials, which I highly recommend as well.
