Reliable and Developer-Friendly Financial API has been an outstanding API…

TwelveData has been an outstanding API provider for financial data. The platform is fast, reliable, and easy to integrate. I particularly appreciate the wide range of technical indicators and the clean JSON responses. The support team is also responsive and helpful. It’s ideal for both professional and personal trading projects.

Great Customer Service!!!

I am an individual (non-professional) coder. I have been using TwelveData for several years. One evening a couple of weeks ago the data from TwelveData suddenly was not downloading properly in my program. I emailed customer service and got a response back within 10 minutes. After a couple of emails back and forth they provided me with enough info that I was able to solve my bug. The service people were very knowledgeable and thorough and as I mentioned prompt. I really appreciated their efforts.

Poor Data and Bad Support

The website looks nice and it's easy to sign up. But the actual data is bad. Many important data points are missing, and historical stock data has gaps. This makes it hard to trust the service if you're doing anything serious.

Support is also very slow. They reply after 2–3 days, if at all. It feels like the whole thing is run by one person, not a real company. They don’t seem to care about helping customers.

Some of the 5-star reviews here don’t feel real. Anyone who really uses the API will quickly see the problems.

I wouldn’t recommend this service if you need reliable data or fast support.

Great customer service

Our company has had a great experience working with twelvedata to enable our Ultra annual plan. We have a strict procurement process which Liam from twelvedata was happy to accommodate, complying with our internal invoicing setup and quickly setting us up for success. Liam was always professional, patient and pragmatic in trying to resolve our case and truly showcased customer obsession.

good API but bad customer service even on a paid plan!

I really like their API but their support is bad.

I found an error - one of the end point (vwap) does not include OHLC data when we try to include using include OHLC flag but the person responsible to replying to email could not even understand that.

they keep sending me replies like. it is almost comical ...either they will reply really late or not reply at all.

Not really professional company. Although, it looks like providing a lot of data, most of it is missing or broken and customer service is non-responsive.

- Asking questions leads to the silence or initial response, which is followed by silence
- API documentation is non-consistant and changes break your code.
- There is a perk as paying customer. API response may change - which leads to broken code.
