Beware: Company Refuses Refund Despite Meeting Terms
I want to share my experience with Twoshot LTD to help others avoid the same situation and frustration.
I purchased their subscription service and carefully followed the Terms of Service (TOS) at the time, which clearly stated That users who did not download any content other then audio previews would be eligible for a refund. I met these conditions — I only generated stems from my own material and did not download any content (including the stems that were created) — and canceled the subscription shortly after due to dissatisfaction with the service.
However, when I requested the refund I was entitled to under their stated policy, the company refused. After raising the issue, they updated their Terms of Service to introduce new restrictions that weren’t present when I subscribed. This retroactive change felt deeply unfair and misleading.
I filed a formal complaint and attempted to resolve the issue through payment providers, submitting evidence that I complied with the original terms. Unfortunately, because the platform and payment processors do not enforce accountability for merchants violating their own policies, Twoshot LTD refused to honor their original refund policy.
I’m posting this to warn others to be cautious when dealing with Twoshot LTD. If you're not a UK resident, you may not be protected under UK consumer laws, and U.S. regulators do not typically intervene with foreign merchants.
I strongly recommend seeking alternatives — preferably companies that operate with transparency and honor the terms of service they present at the time of purchase.
I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.
Update: After my initial experience, I also requested that Twoshot LTD delete my account and all personal data under applicable privacy laws. Despite following up multiple times, my account remains active, and my request has not been honored. This raises further concerns about their handling of user data and respect for privacy rights.
I’m updating this review to reflect that my concerns extend beyond just a refund issue. If you care about how your personal data is managed — especially if you're not located in the UK — please be cautious.
