How It Works

The website and app allow customers to play Powerball and Mega Millions, as well as a selection of top local draw games in each state. Customers can choose their own numbers or take advantage of the Quick Pick feature to randomly generate their selection.

Tickets are purchased on a customer's behalf from a local licensed Lottery retailer and scanned into their lotter account as proof of purchase. Prizes are paid out by the state's Lottery Commission.

I had won a substantial amount of money…

I had won a substantial amount of money in January 2026, it is now March the 15 and I am waiting for my payout being pushed around going in circles. I have sent Thelotter all of the docs they required some of them twice, they insist that my bank gives the a letter indicating that they receive USD. My bank has given proof of my account with a swift code which means that they accept USD but Thelotter still wants a letter from my bank indicating that they accept USD. This is so frustrating and my bank has sent an email indicating that they don’t do letters of this proof as the account proof with swift is sufficient. Although I have sent them the communication email from the bank, the swift code letter a good few times, they still want the letter from the bank which the email from the bank explicitly explains that the proof of swift is sufficient evidence. I bank with FNB which is part of Rand Merchant bank, where I do international trade payments of a much larger magnitude than the payout, so this and the banking website portrays a FOREX trade and deposit income in all international dominations. My question is this a loophole that Thelotter has found to not do payouts, or is this another scam BS site? So people be concerned playing on this platform, even though they have been around BS people since 2002? All I want is my payout and to keep having fun playing, I don’t drink I don’t smoke, I have fun with numbers!!

I have bad experience with thelotter as…

I have bad experience with thelotter as they are more interested to buy tickets as they make money but when comes to prize money withdrawal they take their own time not to do it. Are they legitimate to trust and put our money,,??

The Lotter couriers.

I've been using these guys for a while in Texas. Ive never worn anything big but others have. In Texas the winning vendor location is posted on the Texas lottery website. I don't know if the winners received their winnings. other comments here have suggested that withdrawing or receiving anything other than small winnings may be problematic for The Lotter or its courier.

Keep in mind that The Lotter uses a courier service for ticket purchases. The couriers are not employed So by The Lotter and they have explicitly defined that they are not responsible if the courier doesn't convey a winning ticket. I'd encourage everyone to read the "terms". It's frightening! The Lotter holds no liability if an unscrupulous courier makes off with a big winning ticket. Money challenges peoples integrity!

The courier in Texas is/was located in Round Rock, Texas. The address or phone # of that business is not listed on The Lotter website. Curious. I've requested the address from The Lotter and have yet to receive a response. It may be Q and Q convenience store.

Moral of the story...buyer beware. The Lotter will not warrant a misplaced, misrepresented, damaged winning ticket (large pot) purchased through a courier. Will the courier (which includes every employee that works with that courier)? You're not playing via The Lotter you're playing through a courier, from which The Lotter has distanced themselves. The courier gets a cut of each purchase from The Lotter.

It's also curious that The Lotter hasn't responded to any of these comments as they do in the international Trust-pilot reports. In fact their responses are suspiciously glowing reports.

I'd be excited to hear from a "big pot" winner that used The Lotter for their ticket purchase.

Played for a while

Played for a while, won small amounts, usually used it to play another round. Got, a small amount left on the account (under $14), decided to withdraw it and stop playing. 12 days have gone by and still waiting for the money to arrive on my account, the payment is pending. Made a request through support to get back to me on this matter, no response.

They don't upload the tickets till the…

They don't upload the tickets till the draw has taken place and TWICE I have someone hack the card I have used on their website. I had luckily disabled international transactions just in time otherwise I would have been a few hundred dollars down. Something is very very fishy even though they claim otherwise.

Update to first 1 star review

This is my update to my first 1 star review.
Two weeks after winning, I finally recieved my ticket. I was made to verify my address over 3 seperate email statements and uploading documents such as my drivers license and credit card, throughout a 5 day period, because I was told the carrier is required to get my signature. I explained I have a PO Box because USPS doesn't deliver to my house. They would need to put both physical address, as well as PO Box #, so the post office can put a notification in my box to bring to the counter to sign for the package once it arrived. I was informed it would be UPS Ground or Fedex Home Delivery. I again had to verify that I have recieved packages by them (UPS/Fedex) in the past. This took all week because each day they had more items required. The following week, (this week) was spent contacting them to find out when my ticket would be sent. Finally on Wednesday I recieved a tracking #. When I looked it up, it stated it was only created, not shipped or recieved by carrier. It was also being sent by USPS Ground Advantage. Again, I confirmed they don't deliver to my house. I have sent multiple emails asking what is going on. I have had daily contact and jumped through all their hoops, but they have not attempted to ship my ticket.
I have recieved several emails from theLotter apologizing for all of the inconveniences and stating that this is being investigated because this is not their normal routine. They claim to be a reputable company. I have not recieved any follow up regarding what happened.
Today, Friday, I went back to the post office for the 2nd time today and the clerk handed me my package. She said there was no signature required. After all they put me through last week, TheLotter didn't put my PO Box # on the package, so they almost sent it back to sender, because there was no po box # and they don't deliver to my house. Luckily, the clerk knew me and knew I was asking about it earlier.
This ticket was for a little over $5,000. Think about it if it were much much higher, even a multimillion dollar jackpot. Once you jump through all their requests, your ticket gets put into a manilla envelope, sent the cheapest slowest way possible, and no signature required. These tickets are like sending cash, they aren't covered by insurance if "lost". Do you want to take that chance?
This was a total disaster. I will never use them again. And I hope no one else experiences what I've gone through.
I have scanned my ticket to make sure it was legitamate. I just hope there's no problem at Oregon Lottery Headquarters... Good Luck

I bought 2 Tickets from the tx.thelotter.com, for some reason they didn't uploaded the scan copy of my tickets purchased, i send them multiple emails no one responded neither the toll-free number no answers. Purchase was made on the 13 of this month
