I would not go as far as to say it…
I would not go as far as to say it does not work, it just did not work for me. I tried it for 6 months rather than 6 weeks just to be sure but I felt no benefit. Easy enough to use. An expensive item to buy and a further cost of £70 every 3 months to replace the mouthpiece so I felt no point in spending any more money.

4 stars but only because I haven't completed treatment. Hoping for 5! I was thrilled to be offered eXciteOSA as a simpler alternative to CPAP. The device and the app are easy to use, even for a non-tech like myself. While treatment progresses, I have been very impressed with the Patient Advocate Team. They have offered help if needed, been available for questions, and given helpful advice. Polite, professional, and knowledgeable, they genuinely want to help you have a successful outcome. Thank goodness for Cristin! She saved the day! Company that I bought the product through left us stranded after obtaining eXcite product. Had no help getting the device set up. It wasn't until two weeks or so later that Cristin from eXciteOSA truly helped get me using this AMAZING product! Thank you Cristin and glad to use this product! Much easier than a CPAP!
No more CPAP!
I have used the eXciteOSA device for a little more than 2 months now and my recent sleep study showed "no evidence of sleep apnea" (0.8 AHI). My previous sleep study from last year showed an AHI of 12, so "mild", but a CPAP was prescribed and I couldn't tolerate it at all. This was a problem as I needed to show compliance for medical clearance reasons. My latest sleep study frees me from that requirement, thank goodness!
I quickly incorporated the therapy into my daily routine and found using the device easy and pleasant, even relaxing. I incorporate it into a short daily meditation and have continued daily use, even after I completed the initial period and graduated to "maintenance mode".
My wife says I don't snore at all anymore (a big change from my previous nightly cacophony) and I wake feeling rested and refreshed. No more afternoon naps required!
I'm so happy to have discovered this marvelous device and grateful to Debbie at Signifier Medical Technologies for her outstanding help, support, and guidance.
Reduced snoring, improved sleep
The Excite has reduced my wifes snoring and improved the quality of her sleep. I was skeptical initially. Now, I'm happy with the results. I would highly recommend trying it out.

Cristin with eXcite has been very helpful and responsive. I had a problem with the first battery (likely user error) and she had a replacement sent immediately. I have finished the 42 sessions and have stopped using a CPAP. Still have had a couple of snoring events (according to my wife) but much better than before. My intent is to keep using the device in an effort to get snoring down to zero.

The company is great at following up when I have issues. I find the device has helped me sleep better at night and reduce snoring . The device is easy to use. I would recommend using you it.
Solid intervention for me, a sufferer of mild sleep apnea
I've repeatedly been told that, based on my AHI, my sleep apnea is mild. At the same time, it seems to significantly reduce my energy during the day. I've been using eXciteOSA for just shy of 7 weeks and I believe it is making a positive change for me in terms of energy levels during the day. For someone like me, who has tried and failed with CPAP, already had one nasal surgery, and whose symptoms/AHI are too mild to justify more surgery, this has been a solid intervention. Looking forward to continued improvement as I continue to use the device.
DOES NOT WORK - NO MONEY BACL
I used the product as advised by them for about 6 months, and saw that it did not work at all. When I Asked for money back, they said I missed the window, however, in the given window its impossible to know whether it works or not. They have a couple of papers published, but please read the fine prints on those papers, for majority of the people, I would expect it to not work. Please avoid as it is quite an expensive trial and error to go through.

I called the Excite OSA support help as I had questions on how to properly place the device on my tongue and also questions on how to understand and set the proper intensity level. My call was taken by Cristin who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. So far I am quite satisfied with the Excite OSA. It is very easy to use.
Poor customer service
I have no idea if this device works, as once I received the box, a label stated that the unit would only be of benefit if a sleep apnea score was under 15. Mine is 21. I have tried contacting the company 3 times by email but so far no answer. Perhaps this review will get their attention. On appalling customer service only, i would not recommend this company.

I have been using eXciteOSA for a year, after the first 2 therapies I started to feel the changes, a more relaxed airflow and reduced the amount of episodes.

I've been using the therapy for 90 days and snoring has reduced, as family told me. Planning to keep going as I believe things will get even better. Thankful for having this option.
My eXite history
eXciteOSA has worked well for me, I have been using it for two years for moderate sleep apnea. I ve only had one incident where I woke up startled since I started using it. I used to wake up gasping at least 3 or 4 times weekly.

As far as the device it works. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea but couldn't stand the CPAP so I went without. When the ExciteOSA was approved I purchased it. My most recent sleep study (overnight at a facility) showed no apnea.
