Important Warning About Westfield Gift Cards

I want to warn shoppers about Westfield White City’s gift card policy. My gift cards expired after just one year, and I was then asked to pay a fee to reactivate them.
Due to illness following the death of my mother, I was unable to travel or shop during this period. Despite explaining this, no flexibility was shown. I also visited customer services on 7 January and was told I’d be contacted, but I never was.
Many retailers offer gift cards valid for several years, so this feels unfair and reflects poor customer service. I would advise people to think twice before buying Westfield gift cards.

Car Park staff Unhelpful and incompetent or liar: Rip off Car Parking at Westfield…

Rip off Car Parking at Westfield Stratford and On their Webb Site says 4 Hours free parking for blue badge holders. After No information contacted car park attendants help. Explained website say 4 hours parking, he said i am looking at wrong website that information is for White City not Stratford Westfield. he was lying or no knowledge about his job. Contacted his head office still waiting for answers. Car park charges are sky high and any offer staff has no knowledge. Incompetent people should change to different management company.

It’s chaos again!!!!

Visited Stratford city the other day.

Absolute chaos, people going crazy as it’s school holidays. Too commercialised, however some stores were good like Zara and John Lewis.

A good few restraunts, unfortunately not in the budget of many.

This mall is a good place to visit for a day out with the family.

Highly recommend to come and visit. Good atmosphere.

Completel Unreasonablee

Westfield gave me a £30 ticket for waiting two minutes to pick-up a passenger in the Ariel Way lay-by regularly used for pick-up and drop-off of Westfield shoppers.

There was no queue or obstruction and plenty of space for other cars if they had come along (which they didn't). And plenty of space for the buses that turn right at that point.

The Westfield guy said "only drop offs are allowed" and "it doesn't matter if it is just for one minute: no waiting of any duration is allowed". He said he issued a ticket even when my passenger turned-up during my query as to why I couldn't stop there for even a moment. He pointed to a sign with tiny writing on it saying "the rules are clearly written there". The sign isn't legible until you get out of the car to read it (by which time you're liable for their fine).

I'm never going back to any Westfield.

Westfield - Tiramisu - juice shop to avoid

I’ve visited Tiramisu cafe to get a lemonade. The assistant charged me £5.70 and took off. I could see her talking to another assistant (maybe trying to figure out how to do the lemonade). A man arrived and she was talking to him as well. This took a good 15 minutes. She then approached me to let me know that she doesn’t have enough lemons and if she could mix oranges on it. I then choose a can of Italian lemonade that costs £2.90 and if I could get the refund for the difference. The man comes and says they can’t refund me on the spot and gives me a receipt with his name on it and a business card promising I would get the refund within 2 days. After one week, I call the shop as I’m still waiting for the refund. I was asked to send an email with the receipt as proof. The man on the phone is shouting at me saying that he’s the ceo and won’t give me the refund without proof. I’m trying to give him the receipt number over the phone and he won’t have it, saying I’m giving beautiful numbers. Being the ceo of the company he clearly has no customer skills and he is very unpleasant and impolite. The hole thing was a terrible experience as he even mentions he’s a busy man and I’m a women at home not working ( I’m actually calling in my lunch break at work). Please avoid if you don’t want to be mistreated over the phone and getting lots of stress to get your money back.

Appalling - non existent customer service

I have tried unsuccessfully to register my new Visa card for Westfield smart parking at Shepherd’s Bush but it is rejected as being “not of good standing”. It is impossible to contact a human being at Westfield to discuss. My emails are replied to by useless robots. The telephone number advertised offers robotic alternatives and number extensions but then cuts off. The date given below is the most recent but this problem has been ongoing for nearly a year. I have asked for a call back repeatedly. So far nothing. If I could give a rating of zero stars I would.

Cinema Restaurant Shopping

Cinema, restaurants and huge variety of different shops as well as many events.

I really enjoyed Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush Ariel Way, very convenient for Xmas shopping

Avoid Smartparking unless you want to get stuck.

Mall ok, nothing too exciting, but their Smart Parking is a joke. System fails, let's you drive in recognising the registered number plate but then won't let you out. Staff unable or unwilling to help, they have confirmed that all details including payment method are correct and up-to-date but still can't pin-point the issue. Hopeless.

This is about the awful security staff

The security staff at the white city shopping Center have ruined my experience. The first one I met was extremely rude to me. Many things happened and when I went to complain (i asked multiple staff members for a manger) I waited 10 minutes for the manager to come and he was extremely disrespectful and Un empathetic towards the situation. I complained online like he told me to, but two weeks have gone by without anything so I went to talk to the same manger today and he was beyond aggressive now, adding in new lies to his story about me. He claimed his staff did nothing wrong, then he said he didn’t see the cctv footage, before backtracking. He’s made a lot of false claims about me. This has now escalated to a whole new level, but there’s no one I can complain to about this. He won’t do anything. No one will get back to my email. Nothing. Just awful.

I highly recommend the mall parking is great and food court is amazing with loads of restaurants. I went there for shopping and the experience was great
