The WORST TAXI EXPERIENCE of my life.
I booked a cab from UK Airport Rides to take my family and I from Stansted Airport to London and it was the WORST TAXI EXPERIENCE of my life. I would AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs. TLDR: the driver drove very unsafely, was extremely rude, started arguing with us in the car at 2 am, and the taxi service gave us the wrong driver details so we weren't sure if we were getting into the right car in the first place.
Firstly, we were not sent ANY driver details until 5 mins before pick-up time (this was 2 am at night). When we were given details, we were sent the wrong driver and car details. Another driver called us and said he was picking us up without any context or mention of the taxi service. I called the taxi service to confirm the change was made by them and they had no idea about what was happening and told me they would call me back.
In the meantime, the second driver arrived and I asked him his name to confirm the ride and to ensure we were getting into the right car, a question he was offended by. The taxi company finally called us back and said it was actually this second driver that would be driving us as "there were two jobs" being completed that evening from Stansted.
Once we got in the car, the driver started ARGUING with us by saying he tried to call us multiple times (I was on the flight), that the taxi service was assigning this ride to him and not the other driver we were originally sent details of. He went on to complain that he would only be paid for this ride 2 weeks later, that he needs to feed his kids, and insisted we tell him how much we paid the taxi company. We all felt super uncomfortable and were so tired after a long journey back from holiday, only to be shouted at by our taxi driver.
To top it all off, he drove extremely badly, halting abruptly several times, and there was a weird sound coming from one of the tires in the back. We all felt VERY UNSAFE. I would give this minus stars if I could.

Firstly, our operator reported and he informed you that he was checking for your driver. Upon checking, we had two drivers waiting for passengers from the same flight. He provided you with one driver’s contact, and shortly after, you sent him the contact for another driver to confirm if that was the right one, which he did.
Your flight was delayed at least one hour, we had available two drivers at Stansted Airport, Our operator was in communication with you all the time, We have listened the conversation between you and the operator, We consider it was positive conversation, our colleague have advice you properly.
It’s our standard practice to assign drivers based on arrival times to ensure efficiency. You seemed pleased when getting into the cab and expressed appreciation for the assistance provided.
Regarding your concern about the payment, please understand that our drivers are aware of the company’s payment process and have signed contracts acknowledging it. This is a matter between the driver and the company, and we advise against taking it personally. We investigated this issue, and our driver indicated that the situation may have been exaggerated.
We value your feedback and are committed to providing the best service possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Lastly I personally apologise that our driver fail to provide the service according to our standards.

We made contact as we got off the…
We made contact as we got off the aircraft. Message was to contact after collecting bags. Our flight left and arrived early, so when we got bags, we were out in about 3 minutes. Driver was not there and was about 10 to 15 minutes before he arrived. Issue is you use free parking to collect us but this means we were standing around waiting for you despite saying you track the flight and bags. Small thing but you seemed to promise to be there for us. No other issues, pleasant drive into the city without fuss.

Easy to book, very prompt and very reliable
The driver arrived fairly promptly, he had been delayed in London traffic. He did try to reach me twice and left a message to say he was on his way. We found each other easily at departures at Gatwick airport and he helped me with my heavy suitcase, loaded it into the care and we left. I was pleased to see that the car was very clean - he did ask me to put my hand luggage on the floor at the back to keep the car clean, but I assured him my hand luggage was very clean - I never put it on the floor so he was OK with that. Our journey took quite a long time due to the time we were travelling, and the heavy London traffic. The driver was very good in that he had a maps type app on his phone so knew which route to take to save time. He was very good in that we chatted quite a bit at the start of the journey, but he was then happy to leave me to my thoughts throughout the journey, checking in that I was OK from time to time. He also opened the car window regularly to keep the car aired (it took us 2.5 hours in the end to reach our destination), which I was grateful for. When we arrived at our destination, he helped me with my case again and left me with my sister. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. The price for the return journey was very reasonable, and it was very easy to book through the website. I received a number of reminder texts that my upcoming journey was due soon, plus a weblink on instructions on where to meet the driver. I didn’t actually need that, as I received a text telling me my driver would soon arrive and his mobile and car registration. This gave me absolute peace of mind that they were going to be there when I arrived alone at Gatwick airport. Thank you.

Pick up in London Stanted Airport
When I made the reservation, I was told that de driver would be inside waiting for us with a note saying CONCEPCION GALLART.
But the driver was 30 or more minutes late, and finally we had to go outside and to wait for him.
Of course, he apologised for that saying there was a lot of traffic

Regarding the delay, agency advice us to pick up passenger (Concepcion Gallart) at 15:00 however driver picked-up the passenger at 15:17. Passengers were picked up 17 minutes late at agreed time. we assure you that if you make booking with us in future will offer you discount in order to cover our weakness.

The trips are great, the organization and service could be much better
1. 09/27/2024 - We were not met by the driver at the airport with a sign with my name. The car arrived at Terminal 4 significantly late (about 40 minutes). We were forced to wait for the car in the parking lot near the terminal. The trip itself was comfortable and pleasant. The driver was polite and friendly.
2. 10/07/2024 we received confirmation of our order with a delay and only after the hotel employee called your company and asked for confirmation and trip details: the driver's name and car number. The driver arrived at the hotel on time, was punctual, polite and friendly. We are very pleased with the trip itself.
