$2,500 Unit Has Broken THREE Times — And There Is No Repair Facility am extremely disappointed with both…
I am extremely disappointed with both this product and the way the company is handling the situation.
I paid approximately $2,500 for this unit, and it has now broken for the THIRD time. For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality, reliability, and customer support.
Now I am being told that the unit may have failed because sessions were done back-to-back and that customers are supposed to wait at least one hour between sessions to prevent the unit from overheating. I have asked the company to show me exactly where this important restriction was disclosed in the owner's manual, operating instructions, warranty information, or other materials I received when purchasing the unit.
Even more concerning, I have now been told that the company does not have a repair facility or even a repair option for the unit. Think about that: you can spend $2,500 on their equipment, and if it fails outside the warranty, there is apparently nowhere to send it to have it repaired.
Their proposed solution is for me to receive a discount toward purchasing another new unit.
After having this product fail three times, why would I want to spend more money buying another one?
When a company sells a product at this price point, I believe it should stand behind what it sells and, at the very least, provide customers with a reasonable way to have the equipment serviced or repaired.
I have given this company multiple opportunities because I wanted to believe in the product. Unfortunately, after three failures, no repair option, and now being told about an operating restriction that I do not recall being clearly disclosed, I can no longer recommend this product.
I hope the company will reconsider its response and stand behind a $2,500 product rather than asking a customer to simply buy another one.
