From start to finish you were kept informed of what was going on. Yes there was a change of dates etc because of certain contractors but that's to be expected. The whole team was courteous and as careful as you would expect. Andy and Chris were particularly polite and helpful. The office staff with Kirsty and Dianne kept you informed and updated. I'm absolutely delighted with all their work and would highly recommend this company to everyone 😀

From initial contact to installation Union Technical were brilliant. Little mess or disruption, care and consideration at all times. Tidied up and took away all the old heating system leaving me with a modern heat pump radiators and Solar Panels. Brilliant and thank you

I had solar panels installed recently with battery. I found customer Support Team are excellent and keep you informed throughout process. Installers were delayed on day of install which caused a bit of stress for me.but it was not an issue as they did what they could and came back on time/day around my work times which was very considerate. All Of the team are polite, helpful and very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend UT.

Installation team went above and beyond, from cavity walls to full air source pump heating and water and radiators. The solar panel guys, well never knew they were there. The whole team were efficient, clean, polite and respectful. A lot of work was carried out at my property with very little disruption. Its a 10 from me.

Union Technical were efficient, helpful and hard working. The customer service team were knowledgeable and polite keeping me informed throughout. The installation team kept disruption to a minimum and kept the place clean. They worked late at night to finish the job and get the heating working.

Union Technical recently installed an Air Source Heat pump, Solar panels and upgraded the insulation at my father’s property. My father was extremely sceptical about the efficiency of the system and also the mess and upheaval of the install. I am pleased to say that he is now singing the praises of the system and the competency of the installation teams, especially for the plumbing and the solar. The insulation team were always in a rush and did not clear up after themselves.
There have been a few set up issues recently but Union Technical could not have been more helpful in resolving these and helping us to better understand how to set it up for better efficiency.

Union Technical Review
It is a year since we had a vast amount of work done by Union Technical and I will start off by saying we would definitely use this company again.
We had an Air Source Heat Pump installed, new underfloor pipework and new radiators, insulation on non-cavity walls downstairs and room in roof insulation on the whole of our upstairs, plus eight solar panels.
The work did take a good few weeks and it does turn the house upside down quite a bit, however, with the amount of work that got carried out you cannot expect anything else and it is definitely worth the effort in the long run when you start to reap the benefits.
I didn’t write a review sooner as I wanted to see if there were any hiccups over the winter with the ASHP. We did in fact have a small issue, which was dealt with straight away and within a week it was rectified. Everything since then has ran very smoothly. Union Technical are a very nice company to deal with, the office staff are very polite and approachable. The contractors were all lovely too which there were many of.
We first heard about the company and what they could carry out by a canvasser called Tommy who knocked on our door one day last Spring. Then we were visited by two separate surveyors Paul then Andrew. The joiners were the first to visit David and Jim to instal the insulation really nice guys very hard working. Ross the electrician came and did his bit lovely chap. The ASHP crew consisted of Stevie, Stewart and Bailey the plumbers they were absolutely lovely and it was a pleasure to have them here very helpful and they had a great rapport with one another. In-between we had the decorators and plasterers, David, then another crew Ally and Brian, they did a super job and it was also a pleasure having them here as they were very polite, accommodating and so funny. Davie and Rhys fitted the solar panels rapidly and Dale the Electrician came to connect up the solar panels to the existing meter very nice chap and happy to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Basically, all the teams were polite and we felt very comfortable having them in our home.
It was a big decision for us to abandon our oil boiler which has worked very well for many years, however, the ASHP has done its job, it takes a wee while to get used to the different way of working as you basically don’t turn it off it has a more subtle way of heating the house. However, I soon got into the swing of it. We use Hive and it works very well with the system as some people were sceptical but I have not had one issue with it. The insulation has helped a lot as we live in an extremely cold area of Scotland and an older style house so in certain places, we have definitely noticed a difference. The solar panels do their job too and help out with the electricity bills. Since it has been nearly a year since we had it installed, I have kept a record of the costs and it has turned out slightly cheaper than the oil even with the significant rise in the electricity prices.
Getting work done in your home over a lengthy period of time and having it in turmoil at times it made such a difference having people who were approachable, helpful, friendly and competent and we would highly recommend Union Technical.

These guys fitted my underfloor insulation which was partially funded by the Energy Saving Trust grant. Very happy with Union Technical from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
