My son and his friend (6 yo) had a birthday party with Uplay Tennis at HGS this summer. It was great! The fabulous coaches took all the usual stress of a kids party away by keeping the kids entertained with fun games for 1.5 hours on the courts. We were then able to use the inside facilities for food/crafts/music. Would highly recommend!

This is our go-to holiday camp, lots of fun, great variety of activities, kids are active all day and it is SO well organised and run. You can tell as soon as you drop off the kids are in good hands, and as a parent I appreciate the security and rules they have in place. Great holiday camp!

Three of my children attended, 2 of which enjoyed there time there but 1 not so much - he was unfortunately put in a situation where another child kicked him for something some other children done this then led to a fight between the two boys, I was then called to collect my child due to being able to regulate his his emotions due to this, I am not happy as even staff are aware my child was hit first and there response was sorry we wasn't where they were and didn't see this? Why were they not being watched, this however really upset my boy due to other boy being able to stay even though he was the one who caused this.

We have been really impressed with Uplay with the tennis camos and the classes in term times making up for lost sessions in the holidays. My son has enjoyed each of the sessions he has attended, thank you.

Warm welcome on arrival,great organisation and lots of opportunities to make tennis a fun experience for experienced and first timers. Our 9 year old enjoyed so much thank you!

My son has been going to the Uplay Sports tennis camp for two years now and he absolutely loves it. Every time a school holiday is coming up he asks if I will book him in! There is a great mix of tennis games and skills training plus matches and that makes the sessions really varied and fun. The staff are super helpful and friendly and great at what they do and my son’s tennis has really improved since he’s been going there, too. We even booked a tennis party through Uplay for his last birthday and that was brilliant, the kids all loved it! I cannot recommend Uplay Tennis camp highly enough, it is the best holiday camp for kids in Hitchin by a mile!

Updating this review as there was a one-off hiccup in the debrief emails that get sent out from the club so once we received that it gave us everything we needed to know. We’ve since rebooked and everything went swimmingly.

We booked into uplay tennis for a week. We’re not really sure how the week went. It would be nice if an update or mini debrief could be given to parents on pick up about what happened that day and how our child got on that day.

UPlay is a great addition to my holiday childcare needs. Kids love it and are happy and active which is the main thing. Andrew and the team of trainers are great, I would highly recommend it.

Kids had a fantastic day of multi sport and fun activities.

My daughter attended at Hitchin girls school, well organised and they looked after her even though she was initially upset to be left. Much better than other camps she has attended

Best summer camp we've used (tried 3 others this year). Easy booking, comprehensive welcome instructions, straight forward drop off but most importantly our daughters loved the mix of sessions. I was pleased there were rules about no phones, plus strong organisation & discipline during the day. We will definitely book again for another school holiday.

My son really enjoyed multi active. They put on a very good activities timetable. My son can't wait to go again. Thank you to the team at multi active

My son had a fantastic week! It was his first time and although he was a little nervous to begin with, this soon vanished and he had a wonderful time. The staff are great and obviously enjoy what they do. I knew he was in good hands and he thoroughly enjoyed every day.

8 yr old boy 9yr girl booked into multi sports for 3 days last week came out everyday hoping to be going back the next day they so looking forward to next week

My 7 y.o. Daughter has some additional needs and has not always gotten on well at holiday camps and can struggle with some sports and games. So, i had my doubts about how she would get on with u play.

I should not have worried. She is loving it. All the instructors actually seem like they like kids and want to be there. They are well set up for kids that might need a bit of extra support, with crafting and chill out zones to help with overwhelm.

It is really well organised, the communication is good and compared to other offerings is good value for money.

She comes home happy and knackered.

My daughter tried this for the first time and was very apprehensive. She has never done anything like it before and was nervous at drop off. When I collected her she was so happy and positive about the whole day! Thank you! You must have been so professional and attentive and encouraging- everything she said was so positive about the people and whole day.

Both of my children went along this week and had a great time. There was a good balance with sports and rest times.

I found the team security conscious on pick up and very helpful with queries that I had.

My children are not normally sporty, but thry really enjoyed the mix if sports.

We will be back!

My kids have been to the school holiday camps at Hitchin Girls School many times. I have always been pleased with how organised and helpful the Uplay team are. Most importantly the kids feel safe and have fun. Perhaps the only negative is that since Covid they have stopped the tuck shop, this was something thing the kids really looked forward to, it would be good it you could find a way to bring this back.

My 8yo daughter went for the first time last week and she absolutely loved it! The coaches are all very friendly and the my daughter loved all the activities. My daughter can be shy but nervous but she came out with a beaming smile and asked to go again. She went again the next day on Christmas Eve and is going again wed-fri next week too.

My daughter has been extremely happy at both tennis club and multi-sports in Hitchin. It is a life saver for working parents during the school holidays. The young adults teaching the children are full of energy and have a good connection with the children.
