What a fantastic experience! We booked a workshop with Alistair for our son's 9th birthday, and it exceeded all our expectations.

A huge thank you to Alistair, who kept a group of 8–9-year-olds engaged for the full two hours with a brilliant step by step introduction to graffiti art, from drawing simple shapes and letters to freestyle spraying. Part of the workshop included stencilling onto vinyl records which each child got to take home! Every part was fun, creative and well organised. Dealing with seven children armed with spray cans is no easy feat, but Alistair handled it with ease!

The highlight was the personalised mural Alistair created for Jack, featuring his name and favourite characters, and the chance for him to help colour it in. It made his day!

We came away with one very happy birthday boy, and I think the workshop has sparked a real interest in street art. I couldn't recommend Alistair's workshops more highly – in our experience, a fantastic workshop for children.

Alistair had great and quick communication, thoroughly explained everything, and was very responsive. The day of my son's party was wonderful. There were about 18 children and Alistair and his colleague were great leaders and artists helping the children learn about spray painting and making sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

We booked Urban Artist Academy for a 10th Birthday party and they did not disappoint! All the children had an absolute blast learning and creating. Our artists were brilliant with the children and made the whole event easy from start to finish. I highly recommend Alistar & team and would book again for workshops and events.

We had a great time at the Easter Family Graffiti Workshop - Alistair and the team were so friendly, attentive, encouraging and professional and we would 100% recommend to others! We had so much fun getting creative together and learnt loads! Can't wait to come back again! 😃💖💥

A really enjoyable, creative experience for my son, who has attended four or five of the graffiti camps both in Hoxton and Dog Kennel Hill. He has loved the day. It has been a boost to his self esteem and a chance for him to express himself too.

All of the things he has created at camp are on display in his room and an artist even noticed him carrying some of his work home on the bus and was so impressed that she gave him her business card (which shocked me obviously).

I can't wait till my younger son is old enough to attend too.

My 11yr old son attended one of the summer camps and really enjoyed the day. It's really tricky at this age to find a course that is engaging and interesting that isn't sport. There was a well thought plan for the day but also free flowing and fun. It's definitely got my son creatively inspired. We will be booking in another session.

Son loved it. Wants to go again

My 8 year old daughter attended the workshop for one day during the school holidays. She was a bit apprehensive to go in at first (as it was somewhere new and she was one of the youngest there), but the staff eased her in and made her feel comfortable very quickly. She had an amazing time, produced some fabulous artwork - including some she could bring home - and can’t wait to go back again. Alistair and Sam are great and super friendly, the location is cool (an adventure playground), and by the end of the day she didn’t want to leave! Have just booked her in again for the upcoming half term. Highly recommend for creative kids of all ages, looking for something a bit different.

Graffiti workshop with Alistair is always lots of fun. It was very well organised and the kids could enjoy to spend time outside and be creative. Strongly recommend. Also for adults.

My son has an interest in graffiti and i came across Urban Artist Academy on instagram.
Today we went to a summer workshop and he had the best day! Alistair and Sam were amazing with all the kids, they kept them engaged and were attentive. They got to use the spray cans independently and safely. I would recommend to my friends and family and will def book on a future workshop.

The workshop offered loads of different ways for kids to engage in creativity. They clearly loved it!

My daughter had the most amazing time. She loved learning the history and really wants to have her birthday gathering there. My message to my husband when I collected her was ‘I’ve never seen her so pumped!!!!’ She also now wants to graffiti our garden fence!!!

This is the second year that Alistair and the Urban Artist Academy have run a workshop for our primary school year 6 leavers and what an amazing job they do! It’s fun, engaging, creative, informative and the kids absolutely loved it. We were a big group of 64 children with a range of needs and Alistair and Chris were brilliantly organised and prepared with a carousel set up of different activities for them all to do. Learning about the history of graffiti, sketching and designing, stenciling and spray painting techniques on small and large surfaces were all part of the day. Alistair’s delivery and management of the kids and activities is really excellent and he was great at communicating with the school - we would highly recommend. Thank you!

Our Y3/4 class thoroughly enjoyed painting a playground wall as part of their Urban Pioneers project. Alistair and Sam were fabulous with them, making the day really interesting and answering all their questions. The children had a day to remember, learned a new skill ( and lots about when it is ok to graffiti and when it isn’t) and we have a fabulous, professional looking wall decorated with our school vision and values. All of the children were enthralled watching Alistair and Sam work on the design over lunchtime. Highly recommended as an unusual but brilliant school art project 👍

Our daughter and her friends recently celebrated her birthday with Urban Artist Academy and we all had a brilliant experience! From planning the event, to running the workshop Alistair was exceptional. He kept the girls captivated and engaged the entire workshop and they all came away excited after learning a new skill (and more about the history of street art), they all had a fun afternoon. Highly recommended for a unique group experience for kids and grownups!

What an amazing concept my two children absolutely loved it. Esme 8 and Arlo 12 definately want to come again. Can’t recommend Alistair enough. ❤️
