Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.
Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.
Ingersoll continues to maintain the ethos of the Ingersoll brothers and is proud to present a new range of quality, precision timepieces.

One week later I got my watch it starts…
One week later I got my watch it starts moisturizing inside. I contacted to customer support that I have to pay for the shipping back to UK. This is not my fault that is the product that you sale is defective.

Having checked communication trail, the reason why agent have advised to organise return from your side due to collection service is not currently operational. On the communication trail he has assured that reimbursement for the return shipping cost along with the replacement will be organised accordingly upon receipt.

Bought a watch from Ingersoll
Bought a watch from Ingersoll, it was around 150, I have forgot what it was called. When I received this watch, it came In good quality, from the container to the watch. But later on I was trying to adjust the watch with the winding stem, it broke off, so easily. Not only that, that watches strap are hard to put on, and are very uncomfortable. I do not recommend these watches, or at least the cheaper ones apart from the more expensive ones.

The Trenton Radiolite is a stunning watch. From the finish to the lettering on the dial and even the back of the case , the attention to detail is superb ! It really takes you back to the early days of 1900 .
I'm very glad I made this purchase . Also the packaging can't be beat .The Radiolite is now "center stage" of all my "trench" style wristwatches .
