Deceptive site. This company uses logos on its site that are VERY similar to the legit IRS.gov site.
Whois check reveals that the registrant as well as the administrative contact is located in Iceland, both listed as anonymous. The mailing address is a rent-a-box in a strip mall shipping and postal for profit business in MD. Email attempts were returned as undeliverable. A phone call to the 800 # placed me in touch with an individual to whom I expressed my concern about the sensitive data that they collected on me by means of the application and the fact that they were deliberately presenting themselves as a IRS site and service. I was unable to continue my conversation with "Kelly" as that she ended the call and hung up on me. This outfit also has at least 2 other websites doing the same "business" filetaxid.com and getmytaxid.com

Top result on a google search for IRS EIN request came up with this site, looks like an official IRS government site, I thought I was on the IRS website, but is not, they admit this in the fine print at the bottom of the page. Charged me $249 for a transaction the IRS provides for FREE!!! Now they have my deceased mother's SSN, my SSN, my credit card information. The same site also has at least one other address, taxid-usa.com. These sites are immoral, but technically legal.
