I really didn’t want to give a star*** but I had too. I’ve been ordering directly from the us mint for over 22 years.Recently I’ve had a problem with getting the 2022 db silver metal, $75 each, and I have Two children I always order two. I’m currently in rolled in All silver proof eagles, also uncirculated recently with the new series being offered. This year I purchased the most ever Directly from the us mint. I ask to speak with a manager and was always a no one to help me would you like a call back, I never received a call and later when I called and finally spoke to a manager she couldn’t help me with obtaining a coin, so I ask them to cancel All my subscriptions which they did immediately, before even trying to keep a Loyale customer, so I will tell my 2 children some day how I started and collected both Proof/uncirculated silver eagles and how the scam @ the mint will always be, because they lack customer support.

I have been ordering Proof sets for years through USMINT.GOV, no problems. This year my 2022 arrived with black plastic crap trapped under the plastic over the faces of the coins.
First, customer has to pay to return, no reimbursement!
Second, I wanted a replacement, instead they refunded, only the price of product, not first shipping or return shipping.
I only lost about $14 but I’m done with USMINT.GOV!

US Mint has lost me as a customer.I ordered 2 of the 21XE Morgan silver dollars waited 3 months or so to get them and they had the wrong coa which was san Francisco but the 2 I received were from Philadelphia and no mint mark.I emailed them on 11-1-21 with no reply so I called them on 11-9-21 and was told their "policy"stated i could only return them for credit but they had none to replace them and could not send me the correct COA's. Well
My policy is to do no more business with the US Mint.

What has happened to the Mint? Poor customer service, horrible website, just flat out bad all the way around! I had ordered the new Morgan coins in 5/21. In October, I received notice coins were shipped along with a tracking number. Over a month later and numerous calls, I was informed the order was cancelled and a refund would follow (3 weeks later and more calls, it posted). I received a text in Mid-December that the coins were available and I was able to order 2. The coins arrived yesterday and found that both were not in the plastic protective shells. What is the value now!!!
I have had "proof" coins arrive in the past with finger prints.
Who is running this place?

USAMint.com is NOT the US Mint. The official site is USMint.gov. This is just another site that is named to confuse people.

Awful customer service - only interested in taking your good money and providing a bad service in return. Items ordered but not received. Live chat often unavailable and appears to be staffed by either bots or people not interested in helping. Complaint e-mail sent but no acknowledgment of receipt. AWFUL EXPERIENCE - AVOID.

I had bought from the US Mint previously without incident. However, I purchased a platinum coin for over $1,600 which arrived with a damaged case. I returned the coin to the mint and waited for a replacement. Since that time, March 2021, I have spoke to nine different agents all of whom assured me that my case would be expedited. It is now November, and still no results. Unfortunately, I am now forced to take legal action to either have a coin delivered or a refund. I will never do business with this company again.

Just got my order for the Morgan Dollars and they put the wrong coins in the boxes. I ordered Carson City and New Orlean coins and I got the correct boxes but the coins were all the same all New Orleans and no Carson City coins. So now I have boxes and COAs that don't match the coins.

Horrible service, bad website. No follow-up, no shipping info, no customer service. Waited on hold for 45 mins, listening to recording telling me they value me.
Order was placed two months ago, never received, never shipped, order number is invalid. This is on a 2,000 coin. Typical Gov incompetence and failure.

Will never buy from them again.

How in the world does the US MINT take an order and confirm it back in MAY send a confirmation on May 24,2021. Now on October 21, 2021. THEY SENT ME A TEXT SAYING IT WAS CANCELED AND YOU CANNOT CALL THEM!!!

I don’t even think 1 star is deserved. They have the tackiest most uneducated people working at the US Mint. No manners, no customer service skills, flat out terrible, rude, and seem sooooo annoyed to do their job! Every time I’ve called seems like no one wants answer, call gets answered but rep doesn’t know or have the right answer to give customer. What kind of people work here?! And live chat seems to always be unavailable. Terrible!

The US Mint has got to be one of the F**KING biggest scams there is out there. I 100% agree with the majority of these posts

For me this started with the 2019 reverse enhanced AE.
It continues to happen. I am done purchasing from the US mint. I have no interest in making their crony coin dealers rich! The service used to be good but now it's the worst.

Worst place to buy I had an item in my cart
At 11:00 as soon as 12:00 cam it’s sold out … bull crap…. So I called on hold 2 hrs
And they have the worst customer service in the world……anyone know where else I can buy coins

I don't know how we can trust the government with taxes and spending when they cannot even run a basic website. I have been trying over an hour to check out. I have even gotten the message your order is being processed only to moment later get a bad gateway window and funneled right back to the checkout page. They need to fire the complete ineffectual and unknowledgeable IT department.

If I could give it negative stars I would. I can't remember the last time I was able to complete a purchase on the website without an exhausting amount of time and frustration. I have been online for almost an hour, today, trying to purchase ONE item. It either crashes or returns to the previous page. I am not a new customer. The site has all of my information and it is supposed to be a quick check out. Yea, right!

It took me 2 hrs, over 75 tries, and a lot if my stress to get my order in. After 2 hours, the website is down, and there are no coins available, for the 2021 Reverse Proof. This is some BS, these bonobos need to get their sheet together.

Your website crashed. Your sale was on-line! This isn't the 1900s, get your act together!

Whoever is running this website [USMINT.gov] should be fired immediately.
Since 2019, they cannot accommodate web traffic when sales are offered, online.

The ordering process is vague and outright deceitful for limited edition releases. I have tried to order each of the Morgan and Peace commemorative coins and have had to give up every time. The online ordering system was not available and I spent hours trying via telephone only to get a busy signal and a voicemail telling me that if I left my number, the first available rep would call me back. Well that turned out to be an outright empty promise. No one has ever called me back. I would also like to know who set the mintage rate so ridiculously low. I have decided I can’t compete with the coin dealers’ robo-callers. I am contemplating ending my subscriptions. For people who want fairness, honesty, and integrity just remember that the mint is part of the same government as our Congress. I would recommend buying coins from the Canadian or British mints.
