Complete Fraud! I order a platinum coin using a card they shipped it however a week later I purchased silver eagle proofs in under 3 minutes received confirmation and again 2 days later. 6 days later got a email saying order canceled, called and they said issue with info on my card that was already charged, it was the same card I used last week that but the back room needed my eagles for eBay at double. no help from the live chat, could not find an order that they charged my account for! I even call on the phone and I live in Ireland. They are as messed up as congress is. Tied to place order site busy then to sold out of a coin that cost 85 dollars, and had to go to eBay to buy it for 540 dollars. I don't understand the logic, of having on line buying and then there are no products to buy. Tried to find out what a charge is on my account and they have no order!

I had negative issues long before the current situation but now they have something to label their short comings. Emails stating orders have shipped but they don't actually ship for up to a month after creating a shipping label. Companies are claiming an item has shipped when they purchase the label. This really needs to stop. Waited on hold listening to an ads saying to call the number I'm sitting on hold for. Estimated wait time was 3 minutes at the beginning but gave up after 30 minutes. I got on Chat and ask the status and for "Security Reasons" they wanted more information than I felt comfortable giving. All I want is the status of my order. I'm done with them, should have canceled my subscriptions before now. They're canceled now.

The mint staff are rude and basically stupid. I am a 30 year buyer of mint products. I bought the Mayflower series (All coins) and it has been "processing" for a month. Yet the big dealers are selling them "in hand" at a massive profit. I called the mint and after a 45 min hold I am told "it is processing" No kidding. I can read that on your crappy website. The mint service and website absolutly SUCK
Find another place to purchase coins
I ordered 7 silver coins for my kids and grand kids in Early November as soon at they were available. Some how UPS and I missed each other (Not happy with UPS either) I called US Mint and explained what happened. They placed a note in my order that said I would pay for shipping again and I still wanted my order. I followed the tracking and my order was returned. I waited a couple days. Then called again to follow up. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes. I find it absurd that US Mint or what ever they are cannot give me a clear idea it I will be getting my shipment returned nor what will be happening. The US Mint does not seem like customer service nor order fulfillment is a priority for the any longer. I guess I will have to find another place to purchase my coins for the holidays for now and in the future.
US MINT A CON
Ordered a silver coin from the US MINT on the 5th November. A special coin that took 45 minutes to complete as their site kept crashing..I eventually got a confirmed email stating I was successful in obtaining this coin..money came out of my bank....But!!!! Never received the coin..sent over 10 emails only to be ignored..spent over £40 trying to call them....eventually got through..and was told I have got the coin I paid for...but never received it...I will never use the US MINT again and would advise anyone not to use this company as it's just a con.
You would think that the US MINT would be a company you could 100% trust....but it's not.. its a con..take your money..dont deliver your purchase..and there is no way of contacting them or getting a refund..AVOID THE US MINT

Placed two orders. My money was pending, got the money returned to my account, no idea why. My orders show it still processing but has already been more than the 3-5 business days. Trying to contact the mint spent more than £5 on calls and they never pick up the phone. No answers at all to my emails. Very unpleased with this service, specially when you got about $1300 in orders still processing..........

I would never expect this service from the US MINT..I felt like I called India.. I placed my order for the WWII GOLD got all the order confirmations..order number USM08696279..(yes by adding this number I expect a response.) I bought this gold coin for my son for xmas.. you guys placed hold on my money..you confirmed..then canceld..absolutely unacceptable!! I'm appalled that there is no managers..no way for you to fix my order.. I feel like I'm dealing with 3rd world..I guess I am..they told me..card wasn't good..its a 12k limit..I have 1300 on it..I use it for points.. I've used it same day..if card was no good it would be on my card..I want this fixed.

Mint sends out alerts on coin release that you sign up for, however when you go to order you cannot get through because the big coin dealers with cheating software buys all the coins up and regular collectors are left out in the cold. Like ticket scalping. Than is you want that coin you will have to pay a large mark up. Strange when most of them are limit one per household. See ticket master class action lawsuit as a reference. Or the White House Easter egg roll tickets. These coins should be presale! So loss coins I wanted.

I have been a registered USMint buyer for over 10 years and it's web site Stinks when trying to purchase an high profile coin. I too tried to purchase the WW II 75th anniversary gold and silver coins. It kept kicking me off their site saying Error 105 you have been rate limited? and Cloudfare error. I had everything in the basket and all my information to purchase. But when I hit the confirmation button, well good luck getting past that point. Very frustrating. I love the Mints coins but their wed site STINKS! And why do some people don't get any of those weird messages?
US Mint Arrogance
Tried to order the 75th Anniversary American Eagle on the day it became available. With much patience I got to the point where I submitted my credit card information and was confirming the order. At this point I received the infamous message "oops an error has occurred" please refresh. After trying to refresh a dozen times I gave up. When returning later to complete the purchase the system informed me that the product was unavailable. I called the customer service number at the mint. After several attempts, I got through. They simply told me "sorry our web site crashed" and they were not going to honor my purchase. Only the government could get away with such arrogance. I canceled my mint account.
Confirmed and paid order cancelled without reasons
I had a confirmed email and the money was taken from my account by US Mint after I ordered a V75 Silver American Eagle. Today, four days later US Mint emailed me saying my ordered was cancelled because they didn´t have the coin was not longer in their inventory and it was not available for backorder.
Is that a joke? Are you confirmed an order and taken the money from me and now you tell me you don´t have the product? How is that even possible/legal?
Never I would buy anything from US Mint again in my life.
The Mint Sales Web Site Sucks!
You have got to be kidding me! Multiple time today I have a confirmed sale in-processing only to be kicked back to blank screen with a refresh button that doesn't work. I ordered both the "End of World War II 75th Anniversary 24-Karat Gold Coin" as well as the "End of World War II 75th Anniversary Silver Medal", had both in my cart, entered credit card information and confirmed the sale. Only to have the web site sit and spin and then again only a refresh page. This happened at least a dozen times and ultimately after a refresh the Silver Medal first followed by the Gold coin are no longer available! Once the web site accepts my credit card the sale should go thru! Image my surprise when third party dealers are immediately offering these two for triple the prices! The US Mint needs to get a better sales processing host! Why bother collecting US Mint Coins when the only way to buy them is outrageous prices from coin dealers!

I am cancelling all my enrollments. I’m done. Your cloud fare bs and sales that favor dealers has gotten ludicrous. Lopsided and restrictive for the collector.how is it one per house hold and dealers are offering them in the hundreds for presages at hundreds in some cases 1000’s of dollars more.
You violate your own rules of a one limit
Then sell thousands to dealers at once blocking even the possibility of obtaining coins. This is really frustrating and blatantly one sided.

Tried to login to Mint for over an hour today for V75 silver eagle with no success. Family and I have been loyal mint members for decades !!! I kept getting error message that the site was locking me out. What a way to treat a loyal customer. I am sure all the internet coin companies bought all the limited stock. They must have a better browser than mine. All week I have received offers from various coin companies offering to buy a V75 silver eagle for $400 and a V75 gold eagle for $up to $6000. This is ridiculous. Clearly the intent was to have “private individuals” buy the limited issue coins one at a time and then sell them them in their internet stores for obscene profits. I felt very “excluded” by the US Mint today. Apparently, loyalty is only a one way street with the US Mint. I am seriously considering parting company with the mint. I doubt they will care unless thousands of us just stop buying from them. The biggest insult of the day was when I logged in about 2:00PM successfully and saw that - lol and behold - all the V75’s were sold out !!!
The only way to rectify this is to mint more and offer them again to loyal customers at the original price !!!
CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S WORST
Today was without a doubt was the worst customer service I have ever seen from the U S Mint. To start I was made to sign in six times in three minutes, each time having to verify my ID only to be knocked off the web site again an again. It almost seems as if the Mint is trying to control who is allowed to buy this coin & who will have to buy it out in the market & pay more for the same coin. Because I tried to get on the web site more than once I was locked out buy the Mint which means if I want this coin then I will have to pay extra for it because the Mint is controlling who is allowed to buy it & who gets locked out. SO I ASK WHAT THE HELL IS FAIR ABOUT THAT! THE ANSWER IS NOTHING! So again either your a dealer & you get to buy or your not & you get NOTHING!
bad sales experience many times
Again US Mint indicates an item is now available... took a while to get it into the Cart, but then when trying to purchase it... it too is not available. Last time a few months ago I received notification a items as available again as restocked... and again same experience/not available... then why tell me its available? Nobody answering on old style human staffed phone sales line just a continuous recording...but I know in a week or so, high volume dealers will have 100s of these available at 10x to 20x the original price even though there was a buy 1 or 2 limit how did they get 500 available to sell? If item is available, why does the text page tell me every few hours and the phone recording is stating its available.
