**1 star — Avoid. My return and refund experience has been extremely frustrating**
I strongly recommend that potential customers understand the returns process before ordering from Valorelli.
The items I received were disappointing and did not match what I believed I was buying from the advertising, particularly regarding the material and quality.
I requested a refund and eventually returned the unwanted items to the address I was provided in China. I paid **£33 out of my own pocket for tracked Royal Mail international postage**.
The return was posted on **10 July 2026**. Tracking confirms that the parcel reached the Chinese customs process on **1 August**, where it has remained.
Instead of resolving the refund, Valorelli is now telling me that I must contact my carrier and arrange payment of any applicable Chinese customs charges before they will receive the return, inspect it and refund me.
I have asked them to provide evidence of any actual customs charge, including the amount, reference number, who has been contacted for payment and exactly how I am supposedly expected to pay it from the UK.
After more than a month since sending the goods back, I still do not have my refund.
I have now disputed the transaction with my bank and provided evidence of the return, tracking information and correspondence.
My experience has therefore been:
* Products that I was unhappy with and believed did not correspond with the advertising.
* An expensive international return to China at my own cost.
* £33 additional postage.
* More than a month waiting after returning the goods.
* No refund so far.
* Further delays because the parcel is now in Chinese customs.
* A bank dispute because I have been unable to resolve the matter directly.
I have kept the tracking receipt, photographs, advertising and correspondence and will update this review if and when my refund is finally received.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase from Valorelli again. Anyone considering ordering should read the returns policy very carefully and understand where they may have to send the goods if something goes wrong.
