I'm sure the problem that you're having can be dealt with very swiftly. We are very customer service focused and usually have a repair/exchange turned around with 2-3 working days. Our other reviews speaks volumes for that.
The last order we have from you on record is from 21st January 2021, which wouldn't warrant a refund as it's outside the 14days money back guarantee.
Could you please reply through here or email us at sales@valucomputers.co.uk with your order details so we can ensure it was us you have been dealing with for this more recent order.
Perhaps the order was under a different name.
Our sincere apologies for any stress this has caused you by this delay, if there has been in fact some kind of miscommunication we hope to resolve it as soon as possible.
It's no excuse but we have been working tirelessly through out this whole pandemic to ensure each and every customer has a working computer to help them through the difficult times we have all endured.

Hinge screw loose

Was disappointed that this laptop was not supplied with the Dell power supply, but apart from that, laptop has performed well.

Needed an xp computer with serial port
Needed an xp computer with serial port. This does what I need. I had to experiment with browsers for an out of date operating system - my choice. Firefox seems to fit the bill. Sofar a great little laptop from Val U Computers.

Dell D630 laptop, refurbished Grade B
I was impressed with the packaging you used for the Dell D630 laptop.
This ensured that it arrived with no damage in transit.
I was also impressed with the condition of the used laptop.
The screen had no obvious blemishes, such as dead pixels.
The keyboard was in excellent condition with all markings fully legible.
For a laptop that had been refurbished: Grade B, the price was very fair.
At startup, it put up the message 'Checking File System... One of your filing systems needs checking for consistency'.
This prompted me to look for the XP Pro Restore disc, but it was not in the laptop drive or packaging.
As it was listed on the Invoice, I called and asked for it to be sent - especially because of the warning message.
Meanwhile, I was able to load the intended DOS application, and to connect via the serial port to the target device - a gas boiler.
The app works as intended, and so the object in buying the laptop has been achieved.
I deducted one star because the Restore disc had been omitted.
However, it has since arrived, and I would buy again from Val-U-Computers and recommend them to others.
