Ordered a roof bar kit to fit a new van…

Ordered a roof bar kit to fit a new van 75 plate. Purchased one in 2021 along with 2x Rhino tube carriers. (Roof rack wasn't Rhino). The roof bar at the back is around 15mm lower than the front two. The ladder roller catches the door profile at the top, I emailed customer services to ask why the Rhino tube carrier wouldn't go on and was told there only suitable for Rhino racks/bars despite there own website saying there universal and fitted a different brand roof kit I bought last time! ("This description is in regard to the universal fitting on different vehicle models") this quote is the actual response I got when asked why does your website say the tube carrier is universal? Does say anything about models for a tube carrier!
Should have read the reviews but being a returning customer with no issues I didn't feel the need too. Last time i will waste my time with these jokers! And can't return it apparently as it's now fitted asper the terms on the website.

Awesome customer service

Ordered a roof rack and had a fitting kit missing. Contacted Customer services and they got onto it straight away.. Had my part delivered next day. Thanks guys for sorting me out-- Roof rack on and a very happy customer.

Initially when window arrived it was thrown over a six foot gate and destroyed, I contacted van demon immediately and a replacement was organised immediately, can’t thank them enough for ther swift response to my problem, 100% satisfaction.👍

Delivery was very quick

Delivery was very quick. Was dubious about ordering after reading reviews and not getting a confirmation email. However after emailing them it was a relatively quick response and confirmation email was sent. Overall a positive experience.

STAY CLEAR

Ordered glass phoned to confirm delivery date all agreed then never arrived. Promised another date also rang to confirm on day had email from company to confirm then half hour later had email from delivery company to say day after. So nearly week later glass arrived only to receive wrong side. Emailed pics and told them only to get a reply looks like right side which you can see clearly in pics it was not. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD RECOMMEND TO STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish and they lied to me on multiple occasions.

I purchased a VW T6 panel van with the intention of converting it into a kombi/camper. There was a few advisories on the last MOT, one of which was an oil leak. I totally understand this is a common fault with Transporters and I was happy to proceed on the basis that all of the advisories and a few other faults were rectified before the van was delivered.

I received email confirmation that the faults had been fixed, I paid the outstanding balance and I was promised delivery the following day. I received the van 5 days later, the first time I started it the oil warm light came on, the second time I started the coolant warning light came on and two days later the engine management light came on.

I booked the van in for an inspection with a VW specialist, the van wasn’t even road worthy, £6000 worth of work was required and they definitely did not fix the oils leak. A lot of the work required, was to rectify bodged work that had been carried out and I’m 99% the sales team were aware of at least 75 % of the faults.

I sent the inspection report to one of the company directors and he was very quick to offer a refund. I was promised a full refund within three days and told the van would be collected within five days. I had to call the office everyday from the 3rd day to the 10th day before I finally received a refund. There were multiple occasions when my calls were ignored, when I did get through and asked to speak to the director he was always outside with a customer and not once did he return my call. The sales assistant was left to deal with the situation and she was full of false promises. On one occasion someone answered the phone and tried to pretend to be the director but I genuinely think it was the cleaner. The van was collected twelve days after the refund was agreed and the ordeal was finally over.

I’m genuinely shocked and discussed with the way I was treated.

Don't buy off Van Demon

Ordered seat covers, the parcel contained missing parts. I emailed them with photos of all the parts and they agreed it was missing some items. After returning the order, it took them 21 days to even locate the parcel, then they told 'All items were present' and refused to pay the return postage. The only reason I'm giving one star is because I can't give no stars, absolute shit show...

Go elsewhere.

Bought a set of mats, via Amazon, only lasted 10 months before the mat on the drivers side wore through, after only 4000 miles. On complaining I got the answer "after six months its wear and tear" and my request for a refund was declined.
I referred the seller to the sale of goods act without reply. If you buy from this company you are buying rubbish, go elsewhere. The star was awarded because the review cannot be submitted without one. Amazon offered no assistance.

Transit mk8 sliding windows 👍

Ordered two front quarter panel sliding windows for our Transit mk8 conversion. We looked at quite a few different websites but found Van Demon to be the cheapest (which I appreciate doesn’t always mean the best!) and their website was quite simple to use which made it easy to find what we needed.

We had seen the negative reviews online so we were a bit sceptical, but we received the correct items, perfectly packaged and they even arrived a day earlier than expected.

We fitted the windows yesterday and so far so good! Can’t complain at all about the experience.

Satisfied customer

Ordered windows for a conversation and they went missing in transit ...told the 2nd replacement delivery had been damaged but a week later the original arrived , box battered but windows perfect ...The girls at Van Demon were very helpful and apologetic and gave us £50 refund for our trouble which means they get our next order ...thank you . Overall a frustrating experience but that was DHL nor Van Demon.

Shocking service

Shocking service, put my van registration in for the correct roof racks as I thought they’d know via the registration. Wrong parts sent and will not help any further. Blaming me, absolute joke of a company, now lost £550 and having to buy the right ones at £650. Please avoid this p**s poor company.

After care service is appalling

After care service is appalling. Called, phone rang out, hung up on me, then finally got a hold of them and they couldn't wait to get off the phone from me. No assistance, no help with the product, and no desire to make sure I got what I needed. Must be better spots out there.

Wish I'd read these reviews first. Ordered seat covers that were supposed to fit my Mercedes Vito. They didn't. No reply to emails enquiring about returns and both of the phone numbers are ringing out. Eventually someone answered with "hello". When I asked if I was through to Van Demon, she hung up.
Now taking this up with my credit card company.

04/04/24 update. Have had a refund from my credit card company now, so I'm happy in that respect. But still no contact from Van Demon. I've had a message today from Trustpilot saying that Van Demon have asked for my email address or order number and my review will be removed if I don't supply one. IME It's a common ploy for companies to do this to try and get reviews removed.

You have my order and contact details as I have emailed you several times and your merchant services provider has been in touch with you about the order and issued a chargeback.

Ordered roof rack on the 18th was being delivered on 21st and they contacted me on the 21st after I paid and took day off to collect delivery that it wasn’t being delivered they don’t have it in stock now have to wait for my money completely messed up my work
