WARNING TO ALL THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, DO NOT USE , was charged for 2 CITB tests + an admin fee. Mock test is a joke, out of 100 questions none came up in actual test, unable to contact ,will be pursuing refund and making complaint to ombudsman

Absolute scam of a company.....taken me from March to get a refund...like others have said was booking test for my son....when typing in citb test they came up as a legit company and clicked on to be charged twice...rang and cancelled one, was told I was getting a refund...3 months later after numerous calls and WhatsApp messages, bank dispute and threatening to take a case out with citizens advice and supplying everything they wanted ive finally received a refund MINUS £10 for my trouble.....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE...ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

If I had come here I wouldn't have been scammed 120 pound by this incompetent company. They scammed me and never responded to mails. IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS, DO NOT USE VANIR TRAINING. RUUUUNNNN.

Bunch of timewasters. Waiting for a simple refund for 4 and a half weeks. The agents i speak to do not note anything down and i have just spoken to a manager who put the phone down on me. The revision material doesn't align with the test questions. I've called every 3 days to get my money back and no one knows what happening.

This company are thefts and fruadstars. Do not book anything

Very misleading experience. I searched for a CITB MAP test booking and this company appeared using CITB branding/logo, which made me believe it was an official booking provider. I ended up paying £148.13 for a test that normally costs around £23.50. (After test payment, they suddenly requested extra card delivery charges)

They ignored all the emails and phone calls, and later cancelled my genuine test booking without explanation. I eventually had to rebook the test myself directly through CITB.

Currently, only a partial refund has been received. I am also concerned about the personal and bank details I provided to them. After I mentioned reporting them, the website branding appeared to change.

Please be very careful and book directly through instead.

These people are scammers. For your sanity, do not use them. Mistakenly purchased my test and card from them since google brought them up first when I was searching for Citb. Honestly, google should work on that, they’re ripping off unsuspecting candidates. They never pick up calls or reply emails or anything. The worst ever. If you do ever by chance come across this before paying them, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT make that mistake. Look carefully for the original website like Pearson Vue and apply yourself. It’s cheaper and less stressful. For almost 4 weeks now, I’ve not been able to get my card. I’m asking for a refund now and no response.

I’d give 0 stars if I could.. they charge double the price on a cscs test. I booked a test and wanted to cancel it the same day and be refunded but just got ignored I even emailed them and didn’t even get a reply. Absolute thieving scum bags but if they need £45 that much I have no problem being charitable

Paid £119 for what I was lead to believe was the exam for level 1 health and safety test to then find out it was just a training course and counted for nothing in obtaining my CSCS card .
They will not reply to your emails or phone calls they are basically just scammers. Absolute scum!
No point reporting to CITB as they are not interested .

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY - total scam, take £130 from you, then fail the test because of background noise which wasnt the case at all. Then ask for a further £70 for a resit!

0 star. This company is very unreliable. They don’t respond to calls or emails, and when they do, the information keeps changing. I was promised multiple callbacks from a manager that never happened. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience.

These people are thieves, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Charged me 120 pounds for a course I never asked for, and refused all attempts to cancel and refund.

Never answer their phone, they promised me a refund on courses that were accidentally purchased, over two weeks have gone by still not refunded and do not answer the phone. They must have 20 missed calls from me. I have tried 0151 673 1644 and 01204 358 203 and both ring out. Terrie, terrible company avoid at all costs ! I will be contracting trading standards

Complete waste of time and money. My experience with the Level 1 training was unprofessional from start to finish. The course was poorly organised, the instructor seemed uninterested, and the facilities were not fit for purpose. To make matters worse, the communication regarding my results has been non-existent. I would strongly advise anyone looking for their Level 1 Health & Safety to look elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this company and would not recommend them based on how my exam was handled.

On my first attempt, I was failed due to having tabs open, which I accept. However, during that same test I was also logged out multiple times, which already raised concerns about the stability of their system.

For my second attempt, I made sure to follow all the rules carefully—no tabs open, correct browser, and everything set up properly. Despite this, I was again logged out during the exam, and it was later marked as a failure due to a recording issue.

On top of this, I had to pay for each resit, even though the second failure was clearly due to technical issues outside of my control.

What made things worse was the lack of support. I sent numerous emails that went unanswered and made multiple phone calls, many of which were not picked up. On the occasions I did get through, the staff were not very helpful and just seemed to want to get off the phone when I would call, and I was often told I would receive a callback which never happened, aside from one or two instances.

My internet connection is strong (around 216 Mbps), and I passed all system checks before both exams, so there was no indication the issue was on my end.

After all of this, the company eventually acknowledged that the recording failure was not my fault and I was finally able to get the exam passed—but only after repeated issues, chasing, and unnecessary stress.

Overall, the platform feels unreliable, and the customer service experience was poor. This situation could have been resolved much quicker and more fairly from the start.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

DO NOT BOOK AN ECOURSE FROM CITB APPROVED TEST CENTRE ONLINE.

You end up having to deal with Vanir training who owns CITB approved test centre.

I was promised same day results for a online exam. That never happened. I was then told 4 working days. That never happened either.

No one answers the phone it just rings and rings. On the rare occasion someone answers one of the many numbers they have listed they tell you someone will call you back. That doesn’t ever happen.

Emails don’t get responded to.

This company is a complete scam.
