Vaux Spares Avis 

SCAMMERS!!! I purchased a Nissan Qashqai engine from Vaux Spares through BreakerLink for £1,700. The engine was delivered to my mechanic’s garage on 30 June.

Approximately one week later, my mechanic contacted me to inform me that the engine supplied was the wrong engine. This was only discovered after the engine had been installed. I immediately contacted Vaux Spares to report the issue. They acknowledged their mistake and agreed to refund my £1,700 and arrange for the incorrect engine to be collected from my mechanic’s garage.

On 22 July, Vaux Spares arranged for a delivery company to collect the engine from my mechanic’s garage. However, they did not provide me with any collection confirmation or update regarding the refund.

Since then, I have repeatedly contacted Vaux Spares to request my refund. Initially, they denied having received the engine and told me that I needed to provide proof that it had been collected.

I carried out my own investigation and discovered that Churchill Freight was the company instructed by Vaux Spares to collect the engine. I had to locate the company myself and obtain the relevant delivery and collection information. The information confirmed that the engine had been collected and was in Vaux Spares’ possession from 23 July.

On 19 August, I contacted Vaux Spares again and provided them with the evidence confirming that the engine had been collected and received by them. Despite this evidence, they have continued to deny receiving the engine and have still failed to refund my £1,700.

I have sent numerous emails requesting that my money be returned, but I have not received a satisfactory response or refund.
Please stay away from this people

They agreed to refund me for a part I ordered. I send the item tracked. Once they received the item the communication from them just stopped. I've had to go through the credit card company to get the refund back.

Scammers, stay far away if you order its at your own risk. They will take payment for your order and when it inevitably takes long to arrive and you decide you want to cancel they will then say they are charging you a 15% handling fee, as they have already removed the part from the vehicle, this in itself is illegal. You cannot be expected to pay handling fee’s it’s part of a business operation. They will claim that your item has been sent out and not even provide a tracking number

Extremely disappointing experience with Vaux Spares.

We purchased an engine for £1,770 which took almost a month to arrive. Upon inspection, our mechanics raised concerns regarding the condition of the engine and we exercised our right to return it. Vaux Spares acknowledged our return request and agreed to arrange collection.

What followed was months of excuses, delays and unfulfilled promises. Despite repeated assurances that collection would be arranged, the engine was not collected until 24 March 2026, several months after the initial complaint was raised.

Even more concerning, despite now having their engine back, we are still waiting for our refund. We have spent countless hours chasing updates, sending emails and making phone calls, only to receive little meaningful progress.

The issue is not just the product itself, but the complete lack of professionalism and customer service when things go wrong. Any reputable company should be able to process a straightforward return and refund without forcing the customer to chase for months.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing from this company.

Chap who calls himself Jay (probably not his real name) got upset and extremely defensive when i suggested he seems to be running a MICKEY MOUSE operation.

Chap calls himself Moses (again probably not his real name) doesn’t seem to have a clue.

As someone who is in the trade for over 20 years trust my advise, DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY, Pay a little more and buy from a reputable business.

Avoid this company scammers and fraudsters they also run find a part ltd on ebay selling faulty parts then when you try to return the part they send a fake return lable from 247 express had to ask ebay to step in to get my money back.

I buy some parts of my car parts from them but it's a worst experience with him no delivery received my car parts after a month where time to arrive is 10 to 15 days totally not recommended and the staff is totally rude behaviour on call.
I return parts on the same day of arrival because no longer needed almost 4 months to go they are not refunding my money back be careful while purchase thanks.

Strongly advice to stay away!!
Before getting tricked by them please review all the reviews as they have scammed me and the part I ordered never arrived.
They need to learn customer dealing skills as they are very rude and aggressive.

They never send the part you ordered. Very rude and unprofessional behaviour with customers.

Came to give a good review….OMG.. if I read these first would have run a mile. My experience was stellar though. Needed a door for my MOKKA, grandson smashed his quad straight into it. The provided the perfect one, even had the same paint code to less for the garage to do. Bit of a result that. Called them to ask about the reviews, they said it’s a campaign via bad employee. As they say dony believe everything you read online. Top lads at Vaux Spares.

I certainly wished I read the reviews first.
Ordered a complete engine and upon the late delivery it was damaged including the turbo. They even removed the oil cooler. When complained about it was told these are serviceable items and don’t from part of the complete engine !!!! Unbelievable.
Then upon further inspection they had actually sent the wrong engine.
The arrogance and attitude on these people are off the scale.
They collected the damaged wrong engine reluctantly and was told a new one would be with me within 7 days. 10 days later I was told there was a delay and it should be within a week.
Asked for a refund and was told a manager would call me back!! Never happened.
Thankfully paid with credit card so anyone else in this position ask your card provider to raise a section 75 and you will get your money back in 3 days.
Or ask to raise a charge back and you are covered.
I have contacted trading standards who have come across these before so fingers crossed they are all out of work and closed down soon.

Extremely bad experience with Vauxspares Ltd. I paid for a car engine over a month ago but never received the item. They never provided any tracking or consignment ID and keep making excuses whenever contacted.

Their website is not accessible because it's banned and the customer service is extremely unprofessional like a rude kid.

They are scammers beware. Paid for a used engine £1800.00 never received, staff rude and aggressive. Now have the hassle of trying to recover the money. AVOID!

Utterly disappointed with the service. Not recommended at all. Stay away from it.

STRONGLY ADVICED EVERYONE NOT TO BUY FROM THEM & STAT AWAY!
Very unprofessional and dishonest company.
After taking payment they never provide me my Vauxhall side mirror, neither tracking ID nor any refund for last three months.
Whenever I asked for an update, they kept making excuses.
Staff also used abusive language on the phone.

This company is totally garbage. Their website barely works and after you buy a car part they simply disappear. I ordered a headlight over a month ago and it has still not arrived. Instead of resolving the issue they keep making excuses while holding my money.

Very disappointing experience. The company failed to deliver within the promised timeframe and never provided tracking details. Communication was poor and staff were unprofessional on calls. It's been 2 month my refund is still not processed despite Letter Before Action notice.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY & DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY.

Complete Con Men. This company needs closing down. First sent a engine which had clearly done alot more millage than stated, was rusty and was faulty and had blowby. They finally agreed to collect it and send a replacement. No replacement ever came and no refund was ever received. I was lucky as the finance was responsible for the repair not myself and they have had to take the hit not myself. As I wasn't responsible for the actual repair in the first place Moneybarn have been told by the Financial Conduct Authority to reinburse me in full. This company now owes several thousands of pounds to Moneybarn. Lets hope Moneybarn (Vanquis Bank) take them to court. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you do you will be sold faulty parts or will receive no parts at all and they will keep your money.

Awful customer service, not sure they're even a real business and not just a bunch of scammers. Waited and waited for a headlight for my car, no tracking info supplied despite repeated requests, then was told it had been destroyed by the courier but that another was coming in the next week. Same story... no tracking details, broken promises of updates and tracking info, always 'later' or 'tomorrow' but still nothing.
Beware, these guys are cowboys.
