Getting my first car was very exciting and a bit stressful, however working with Oliver from Skoda Derby was such a delight. Gave me full information and tips on what car to get and what would be suitable for a 19 year old getting her first car. It was a pleasure working with him on this!

I previously bought my car from Nissan Nottingham and definitely didn't get this standard of customer service. I popped into Vertu Ilkeston for the first time as my car finance was due to expire. Danielle was so welcoming from her first initial introduction, she remembers small details and I would highly recommend for great customer service and people skills along with her knowledge as she explained she is quite new to sales and previously from the service department.
I have purchased a Vauxhall Mokka and I absolutely LOVE it, on collection every detail was covered, management introduced themselves with a warm welcome and after care has been great. I would definitely recommend Nissan Vertu to anyone looking for their next car :)

From start to finish the process was very straightforward. Got a really good part exchanged on my old car, better than what the on-line quotes from the big companies give you. Sales staff were not pushy, we told them what we wanted/needed and they tailor-made a package suited to our needs and price point. Fantastic range of New and used Nissan’s and some other manufacturers.

When to look for a car for my needs was shown a car by a sales advisor when for test drive and got my car week later they are very friendly and got time for you any questions ask they answer them very please with the service I got Matthew hall the sales advisor was brilliant with me

Awful dealership
I went into the Nissan dealership in Ilkeston on Monday with a view to purchasing a new electric Nissan Micra. After standing around waiting for assistance inside the showroom I asked a member of staff for help. She was snippy and miserable and I was told they were very busy and no one could help me (even though there were various salespeople milling around) and I could ring for an appointment. I left. Awful place. I’ll never go there again. Nor will I recommend it. I went straight to Stratstone in Derby and bought a new Mini.

I’m very sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your visit, and that the interaction left you with a negative impression. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide.
Unfortunately, your visit coincided with the final days of March, which is one of our busiest periods. At that time, all of our sales team members were assisting customers who were collecting their new vehicles, which meant availability on the showroom floor was extremely limited.
We did explain that there will be a member of staff available within half an hour and have offered you the option to arrange an appointment for a dedicated member of staff to assist you properly, but we understand you chose not to take this option. While we always try to accommodate walk-in customers, there are occasions where all team members are fully engaged, which is why we recommend booking appointments to ensure you receive the time and attention you deserve.
We’re truly sorry that we missed the opportunity to assist you on this occasion and that you chose to purchase elsewhere. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with the team to help improve how we manage busy periods and customer interactions.

Purchase of a new Nissan Qashqai…
We recently bought a new Nissan Qashqai from Nissan Vertu at Ilkeston. The service we received was excellent.
