I've just been over to peugeot for a test drive with Lucy.
I am Disabled and this makes me slow to move around. Often I am left hurrying after assistants in stores etc. and becoming more breathless and less able to respond to questions quickly.
However today with Lucy my experience was the opposite of this :)
Lucy was extremely polite; friendly; helpful and understanding, whilst remaining Professional and She knew her stuff too.

A special thanks to Lucy who has been outstanding from the first contact. Despite an unavoidable delay in collecting my new car, the team, specifically Lucy, kept me updated throughout. She went above and beyond to resolve the implications of the delay on my new car and for that I am very grateful. Lucy has been a pleasure to deal with. And I will be coming back to Vertu Peugeot Exeter without hesitation. Good service in the car industry is worth its weight in gold and Vertu Peugeot Exeter are excelling in this.

Myself and my daughter were looking for a new motability car. We popped into the Exeter branch on the off chance of test driving a car. We were met by a lovely lady Lucy Rees. Her customer service was impeccable. She was attentive as well as informative. Nothing was too much trouble. She allowed us time to look around the car we were interested in and arranged a test drive there and then. Even though we decided to not go for the peugeot in the end, I have to commend them on their attention to detail. Even the emails sent to check in with us after our visit.
Thank you for everything Lucy, and I hope maybe sometime in the future we'll be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought a 3008 in December 2024. Since then it's had 3 recalls. Now has a headlight issue and it's taken, so far, 5 WEEKS! No contact unless I call them first.
Manager is away til Monday and my request for an investigation was met with "I can mention this to my manager ".
Absolutely furious!

I had a problem with my brakes and needed it checked urgently before I went on holiday.
The service consultant, Colin Knight, arranged an immediate check which identified the replacement of a brake lining and disc and arranged it to be repaired on the same day. By 14.00hrs the car was repaired and my holiday saved.
My thanks go out to Colin and the engineer for such great service who are a credit to Peugeot Exeter and Vertu.

The sales assistant was very knowledgeable of the Motobility scheme and listened to me and my requirements that were important to me to have the best use of the vehicle. Even question I asked was answered. The hand over was also without any issues,very thorough.

Beautiful car, super service and a great welcome from everyone at the Marsh Barton Peugeot showroom. Phillip and Stuart were particularly friendly and attentive and made the whole experience of purchasing the car easy and pleasurable. I would highly recommend the team and Vertu chain for honest sales that keep the buyer at the centre of their business. Thank you Vertu, thank you Phillip and Stuart.

Steve Duggan in sales was very professional, approachable, and quick to respond to all our questions in a clear manner.
The car was presented in excellent condition, and great value for the age/mileage.
Whilst we had an issue with the car a few days later, Steve and the Vertu service dept were very quick to get it booked into a local garage to be resolved at their expense under their 3 month warranty.

I had to book my car in for a recall. Asked if I could leave it for a few hours-was told no they needed it all day, so booked a courtesy car (had to wait about a month for a date when a car was available). The day before I got a call saying there wasn't a car available but it would only take about half an hour. Fine, happy to wait as long as they got straight onto it-no problem. Ended up being in there 1.5 hours.
On the way home 4 separate lights which have never been on came on. I called them and they said to take it back for them to look at it, and they'd need it for a couple of hours. Agreed a day and time-got there and nothing was booked...after 3 hours I got told it was a complete coincidence and unrelated to the software update. As I was late for work I didn't follow it up that day but called the next day to ask them to email what investigations they had done for them to come to the conclusion that the 2 were unrelated. Got a very quick email with a totally unrelated and unrequested printout from the original recall and told that if I want further diagnosis done I can pay the £162 per hour. Since then 2 emails and 1 call have been ignored.
Update - following the review I got an email from the service manager which I replied to. 48 hrs later still no response and am no further forward! The silence is deafening.
