IVertu Škoda Chesterfield
My sister booked herFiat 500 into Vertu Škoda Chesterfield for a routine service under a prepaid service plan. What should have been a straightforward appointment turned into a stressful and disappointing experience.
The vehicle was booked in at 1:30pm and she was advised it would be ready for collection by 4:30pm. Shortly before the agreed collection time, she was informed that there was an issue with the sump plug and that I would be facing additional costs. Prior to this service, she had never been advised of any sump-related concerns despite the vehicle having been serviced by the dealership for several years.
From that point onwards, communication was poor and information provided by staff was inconsistent. She was initially told the vehicle was not driveable and that replacement parts could take several days to obtain. However, within minutes her husband sourced the required part himself at a significantly lower cost than the dealership had quoted and arranged delivery the very same day.
When she raised concerns about how the damage had been identified and whether it could have occurred during the servicing process, she was met with resistance rather than transparency. Despite repeatedly requesting clear explanations and supporting evidence, she was left with more questions than answers.
The situation worsened when she attended the dealership in person. Different members of staff provided conflicting accounts, requests to view evidence were refused, and the level of professionalism expected from a main dealer was noticeably lacking. In particular, overhearing a member of staff tell another customer to “just ignore her” while I was attempting to resolve a legitimate complaint was both upsetting and wholly unacceptable.
Ultimately, the vehicle left requiring further inspection elsewhere, resulting in additional inconvenience, lost time and expense. Rather than feeling valued as a long-standing customer, she felt dismissed and blamed throughout the process.
She said she understand that mechanical issues can arise; however, it is how a business responds to those situations that defines the quality of its customer service. Unfortunately, her experience with Service Manager at Vertu Škoda Chesterfield has left her with no confidence in their customer care, complaint handling procedures, or willingness to properly investigate customer concerns.
Based on her experience, I would defiantly recommend this dealership. Update 8th July she and her husband have now been banned from Vertu motors after registering a court claim against them.

My new Škoda Elroq developed a fault and had to go back for repair. The service I have received from Joe & Daniel in the service department and also Jason the dealer principal has been fantastic. Jason also texted me during his holiday with an update and contacted the deputy manager to call me. I will definitely use this trustworthy and decent showroom again and highly recommend. Also looking forward to my free lifetime valet service!!!

This is the first time i have used Vertu motors and the staff in the Chesterfield branch have been fantastic.
They guided me through every part of the procedure and kept me informed at all times.

Picked up my Skoda Kamiq today and had the pleasure of being looked after by Susan Fairchild in sales from start to finish - everything was dealt with swiftly and efficiently from my initial enquiry to collecting the car today. There was an issue with the valeting so I had to wait quite a bit longer than expected when I arrived, but again Sue dealt with it all and apologised profusely for the delay - she even came to collect me from the train station when I arrived. Would absolutely recommend Skoda Chesterfield (and in particular, Sue!) am super impressed with my new car - love it!!

Phoenix orange Monte Carlo.
From start to finish everything went perfectly, I ordered the Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo in phoenix Orange (which is my mums favourite colour) from Vertu Skoda Chesterfield and unbeknown to mum who was under the impression it was either white or dark blue and not even a Monte Carlo specification. I asked the salesperson (Susan) if we could surprise mum by covering the car before she arrived and Susan went to every effort to make this a special handover with even putting a red bow on the bonnet of the covered car. It all went perfectly, mum was overwhelmed and we had tears, ever since we have started buying Skodas this has been mums dream to have this colour and to top it off literally it even came with a panoramic room.Brilliant experience. 10 out of ten for Susan

Just picked up my new car from Vertu Motors Chesterfield. Easy straight forward process from test drive, to order to delivery including trade in - a new car package I was happy with overall.
