Purchase was great but do not like the disc.
The purchase and delivery were first rate. I am disappointed with the content as I would prefer to have the films separated from the continuity links not dissolved in. It destroys the 60’s feel.

Thank you for the review. "Look at Life Civil Aviation" comprises six short colour films made in the ’60s by the Rank Film company. Between each, we added an introduction by BBC journalist Rob Curling, filmed in classic 1960’s aircraft at the Brooklands aircraft museum.
We’re sorry that the dissolves between Rob’s links and the archive films weren’t to your taste.

The best railway video producer in the UK.
I've been a customer of Video 125 for over 25 years from VHS to DVD to Blu-ray and downloads. The quality of the programmes has always been to broadcast standards, with simply the best drivers-eye views around. High production values, expertly written commentary and professional voiceover experts - none of the other producers in this market go to these lengths. Customer service is never a problem. A vast back catalogue of programmes is there for you to choose from.

Thanks for your review. It is interesting that in your experience you say all Video 125 sound levels are low. We don't know what more we can do, as we have to abide by normal EBU (European Broadcasting Union) standards. We produce our programmes 'in house' at the correct sound levels before sending the finished production to be authored, (making the menu sequences etc.). There, the sound and vision tracks are limited to what we call in the industry 'legal' levels. The resulting files are then sent to the replicators who actually check once again before making the glass masters from which the discs are stamped.

HSTs bringing new life to Scotland's railways.
Extremely well produced with the right balance between railway detail and general geographical interest. Drawing a comparison between this video and the Northern Lights video is difficult due to the almost thirty years in technological changes in photography etc. Please keep on producing videos of this quality - perhaps a revamp of the West Coast videos ?

Great DVD
Kolkatta (Calcutta) Trams. Excellent production. Traffic conditions make tram driving difficult, especially when the tram travels in the opposite direction to flow in a one way street. The tram driver displayed brilliant skills in handling the tram's controls with the "controller" being technology of over a century ago-the air brakes nearly of the same vintage. It's a lot more simpler to drive heritage trams in the UK.
