Village Blinds and Shutters is a Northern Ireland specialist in made-to-measure blinds, plantation shutters, and motorised blinds, supplying and fitting homes across Northern Ireland from our base in Ballymena, County Antrim.
We provide a complete service from free home consultation and measuring through to professional installation, helping homeowners choose window coverings that look right, work properly, and are fitted with care.

Our guarantee includes a 2-Year Warranty covering repairs or replacement of faulty products, followed by a 3-Year Extended Care Plan for continued peace of mind.
During this time, we will repair or replace faulty products, subject to a nominal call-out fee.

Mark who came to measure up for the blinds to be made was a really nice guy also very professional and efficient. The fitter was also very pleasant and fitted the blinds in no time.

They will continually pester you for a review months after fitting and initial review.
Blinds were ordered and well-fitted, making for a good experience. However, after the fitting and payment, we received far too many emails asking for a review, despite already submitting a positive one.
This will put me off using Village Blinds again. I'm not sure what they want from the different emails asking for a review?

Local company who make their own shutters
We had shutters in one room when we moved house and started looking for a company to put them in other rooms. We looked up Village blinds and discovered that they actually made the shutters in their own factory in Ballymena. We had a visit to show us samples and asked for a quote. When they came to fit the shutters it was done carefully and cleanly with no fuss. They even adjusted the other one to make it work better. I'm happy to recommend them.

Good product, bad customer services
The shutters were great, fitted well and no issues with snags.
The roller blind well made and fitted, however concave.
When you contact the owner Harold, he goes off on a rant and has no people skills in solving problems, once he's been paid. Stated he will have bad reviews removed, so I kept all his messages as evidence.

From the first contact with Village Blinds, to the receiving and fitting of the blinds, the experience couldn't have been more straightforward. Mark called to our house to measure up and quote, was very knowledgeable and listened to our needs. The blinds were delivered and installed by a couple of very efficient guys, who left the place spotless after their work. Took seven working days from quotation to fitting 👏

Loving my new blinds......
My late Granda used to run a local blinds business and would have traded with Village Blinds many moons ago and the name always stuck in my head.
I recently moved and wanted to change my blinds so called them to measure up and give me a price for the whole house.
Ashleigh my consultant arrived at the allocated time and date, she was very informative and suggested what would work in my place. After looking through the choices of samples she brought that were available I went with the wooden PVC type versions, as that was really what I wanted, and a roller blind for the bathroom. She measured up quite quickly and advised me of what happens next.
In between my bathroom was being refurbished and the measurements wouldn't be the same so I called and asked them to hold the roller blind which wasn't a problem at all.
Fast forward to my fitting day, you get a time slot and Nick arrived on time with a hoover and all he needed to fit the blinds. Brilliant quick job I must say. You wouldn't even know he had been..... well.....I mean you would because I have amazing new blinds that finish my new home completely.
Competitively priced, professional and courteous staff, brilliant end product and the jobs a good un.
My only quibble would be the hassle of getting rid of the old ones, could companies add a service where they dispose of the old ones. Just a thought as customers wouldn't mind paying a surcharge for this added benefit to them.
