DO NOT BUY FROM VINYL CASTLE RECORDS.

Ordered an an album from them but made a slight mistake with my address. Emailed them within minutes to rectify this. No reply after 2 days, so emailed again. Another 2 days passed before receiving a reply from 'Kingsley' promising to " keep a close eye on this and be in touch shortly". That was 6 days ago and despite further emails asking for an update, nothing.

No replies, no refund and no album, let alone the extra money I paid for 48 hr postage. I've now given up on seeing anything from them.

Best advice- avoid Vinyl Catstle at all costs. Best said their customer 'support' is abysmal but more accurately Vinyl Castle are nothing but shysters, liars, thieves and a fraud.

Ordered some head phones and they never arrived . They don't know where they are and won't refund . Avoid these shisters at all cost . You have been warned!

Scrappy management

After a week of chasing my order, I ended up cancelling the order. I had to initiate contact on 3 occasions to enquire about dispatch. Customer service team (Kingsley) was 5 star and extremely apologetic despite this being no fault of his. I won't purchase again. Its a shame because I ordered from Vinylcastle after seeing their reviews regarding great delivery time! Turns out it was a technical issue that they had been very aware of, but a great company would reach out to customers to inform them of the 'back log'. I heard nothing unless I contacted them

Very Impressive Delivery Time.

Very impressive delivery time. Good selection and very reasonable prices. The records were packaged well and are very good quality. I have ordered vinyl from a number of on line shops and I can say with confidence that this experience was the best and most efficient. Will definitely be returning in due course.

An honest review - a bad experience

Really disappointing experience unfortunately. I decided to shop with Vinyl Castle as they had good prices on a couple of records I wanted, and I like to support small businesses where I can afford to do so.

My records were shipped quickly and were decently packaged, but one of them (the most expensive) was missing. After contacting them, I was told it was “out of stock”, and they had now issued a refund. Why wasn’t this communicated BEFORE the order was sent? Why wasn’t a refund issued BEFORE I contacted them if they knew it was missing? Were they just hoping I wouldn’t notice and they could pocket the money for it?

The record hasn’t been marked as “out of stock” on their website either, which you would imagine would be the first thing they’d do after an issue like this.

Because there was zero communication about my order and the problem, I was given no options with how to proceed. I probably would have asked for the whole order to be refunded, as the main record I placed the order for was “out of stock” - maybe they guessed that and that’s why they didn’t give me any choice.

The way this situation was handled was awful, and I can’t see myself shopping with Vinyl Castle again. Maybe this experience is very specific, but I think it shows that they aren’t the most trustworthy or reliable. There’s plenty of other great online vinyl retailers to support that wouldn’t act this unprofessionally.
