Absolutely effortless! I have used another "international doctor service" in Spain and the prescription they provided was rejected by most of the Spanish pharmacies I visited. With Virtual Clinica, it only took 20 minutes from when I signed up to having a live conversation with a doctor who wrote a script that was immediately accepted! This is the go-to for me now on.

Wir waren als Touristen en Spanien und brauchten ein verschreibungspflichtigen Medikament. Es hat super funktioniert und nach 15 Minuten konnte man mit dem Arzt sprechen und wurde alles erledigt. Das recept haben wir gleicht danach per Email bekommen.

Overall, I was very satisfied with this telemedicine service. I used it to get antibiotics prescribed, and I was genuinely surprised by the speed. From filling out the initial form to completing the consultation call, the entire process took around 30 minutes, which is excellent in my opinion.

What did surprise me negatively was the user portal after registration. Once logged in, the interface was only available in Spanish and not in English. This made filling out questionnaires unnecessarily complicated. It’s possible that I missed a language switch option, but if that’s the case, it’s not user-friendly and should be much clearer.

The weakest part of the whole experience was the video call connection. The call didn’t work in two different browsers, and the whole setup felt a bit amateurish. In my view, this should be handled through a dedicated app rather than a browser. In the end, we were not able to connect via the provided link at all and had to switch to WhatsApp to complete the consultation. I consider myself very technically skilled, so I can imagine this being frustrating or even impossible for less experienced users.

Another thing that caught me off guard was the overall professionalism of the video call. The doctor appeared to be at home, wearing a casual T-shirt, which reduced the sense of professionalism and the classic “white coat effect” that many patients subconsciously expect in medical consultations.

That said, the service itself is very good and clearly delivers on speed and accessibility. It’s just important to remember that speed alone is not the only criterion of quality. Despite the technical and presentation-related issues, I would still rate the service positively and would consider using it again, hoping for some technical improvements in the future.

La experiencia fue muy buena. La atención de Carlos Palacio García excelente y muy amable. Súper intuitiva la interface y muy rápida la respuesta, recomiendo.

Speed of access was amazing. Dr. Carlos understood very quickly what needed to be to be done. He was so courteous and reassuring. The prescription arrived by mail a minute later and a receipt. I had the medication in my hand 30 minutes later. I couldn’t be more happy.

Fantastic service! Prompt, professional and understanding. The Dr was excellent, and really listened to me. The electronic prescription worked well, and I am now taking my antibiotics. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again.

Brilliant service from start to finish

The day I was traveling home from Spain to the US I came down with the flu and they got me an appointment immediately. Easy to sign up. The doctor was wonderful and even though I had technical issues on my end she worked with me and got me my prescription in time to fill it and make my flight.
