Contacted Darren this time last year…

Contacted Darren this time last year explaining my situation with the intention of gaining residency. Paid a consultation fee and gave Darren all the information he required. He sent me a quote of $15,000 and told me it would all be smooth sailing and I should have my residency in about 8 months. All sounded fantastic and I was very confident in Darrens ability. I then received an email (11,000 and a year later) saying they had made a mistake with another client whos visa had now been investigated due to them false claiming he had an australian license which is what the had planned trying with myself. I paid for a seperate consultation with another migration lawyer and he said their was close to no chance I would gain a successful visa going through the process visago had quoted me and assured me would work. I have now wasted a full year and spent $11,000 which I am not entitled to any kind of refund. I would strongly suggest avoiding Visago they are terribly slow, unapologetic and clearly incompetant. I never received an apology or even the offer of any kind of refund. Far better and cheaper immigration lawyers out there, don’t make the same mistake I did.

In response to the very well written completely inaccurate reply, you and your company are the ones making false claims. Funnily enough my visa has been lodged and is well on its way to being granted by a group of competant lawyers who have been very clear and accurate rather than changing the goal posts every months. As for aggressive emails, Im not even going to respond what a complete joke. Why would trust pilot take down ny review? It was my experience and Im completely entitled to my opinion of what happened, funnily enough I also have emails and receipts that I’m more than happy to send through to ‘the australian government’. A laughable response by a laughable company. Like I’ve already stated their are far better companies to use when looking for a nice, easy and reliable service.

Lewis,

You did not pay Visa Go Australia $11,000. As per the MARA Code of Conduct, we supplied you with invoices and receipts for every payment. I am happy to reissue these. Darren also confirmed this during the telephone conversation you had on 17 Jan 2024.

You paid Australian Trade Training College (ATTC) $5,320 for your skills assessment, which you successfully obtained with our assistance. These fees are regulated by TRA https://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/programs/migration-skills-assessment

$ 1,120 Documentary Evidence - Paid 31/08/2023
$ 2,000 Technical Interview – Pathway 1 - Paid 13/10/2023
$ 2,200 Practical Assessment - Paid 16/11/2023

A positive skills assessment is the first step in securing a skilled visa for Australia. This can also be used for your 186 visa application, which I believe you are now applying for.

You paid Visa Go Australia $4,590 in Professional fees for processing your skilled visa application. We carried out this work and invoiced you accordingly.

The reason you did not continue with your visa application is that you were unwilling to apply for 190 state sponsored visa. As we explained to you, the chances of quickly securing a 189 independent visa as a Plumber (General) 334111 were minimal. Therefore, we suggested applying for state sponsorship (190 visa) which would still have granted you permanent residency.

There was a possibility of being questioned about claiming Australia Work experience in a licensed trade (Plumber) without holding the required license. I informed you that another client who had lodged a Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa as a Plumber without the license was questioned about claiming work experience points. I gave you the option of claiming this work experience or not, and applying for the State Sponsored (subclass 190) visa.

You argued about not being able to claim the work experience in question and refused to lodge the recommended 190 visa. I should add that the client who was questioned over their work experience by Immigration has since been granted their visa.
There was no mistake with another client and there were no false claims.

As you were fully aware, any Plumber migrating to Australia must complete the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) then work with an Australian employer for 12 months as a T/A and complete the GAP training. Only then can you apply for an Australian Plumbing License. https://attc.org.au/skills-assessment/offshore-skills-assessment-program/

Migration Agents cannot predict or control the Immigration system. During the processing of your visa, it became more difficult to obtain a 189, hence why we recommended the state nomination (190 visa).

Had you been willing to apply for state nomination, I am confident you would have achieved your permanent residency. However, you made this impossible by being aggressive and argumentative, hanging up the phone on Darren and refusing to communicate. You enlisted the services of a professional MARA Agent with over 20 years of experience, and you chose to ignore his advice.

Making false claims and trying to defame Darren on social media is detestable. The Case Officer assisting you with your visa application was always concerned about emailing you due to your argumentative and aggressive responses. The emails we have on record from you are testament to this.

If you feel you have been mistreated, then the correct way to make a complaint is through the regulatory authority OMARA rather than making false claims and defamatory remarks about staff members. We will provide the Australian Government with all the emails, receipts, and correspondence pertaining to your visa application.

Visa Go Australia acted correctly and professionally at every stage.

Trust Pilot were approached about the false comments made by Lewis and said that they do not take down reviews even when evidence is provided to prove incorrect and false statements.

Regards,
Kimberley at Visa Go Australia

Beware: Visa Agency Scam!

Beware: Visa Agency Scam!

We paid for a consultation with Darren Chatt's agency but had to reschedule. Since then, he's gone completely silent – no replies to emails or calls. Our money is gone, and we received nothing in return. Stay away from this agency; it's a total scam!

Dear Mr Van Hulzen,

As per our booking policy, we do not offer refunds for change of mind and last-minute cancellations. We are extremely busy and last-minute cancellations cost us time and money. You agreed to this policy when you booked your consultation.

Despite this, we offered you a partial refund out of goodwill. This cost us time and a $30 international banking fee. So, you can understand how disappointed we are with your false and misleading review. We are not a scam agency, your money is not gone, and you did receive responses to your emails.

Lastly, I have the email chain between yourself and Darren, and can confirm he was in contact with you over December and January. There were no voicemails from you. The reason for the delay is that you gave us your bank details incorrectly.

As you can see from our booking page, we have many happy customers and provide an excellent service. https://visa-go.setmore.com/reviews.

Regards,
Kimberley at Visa Go Australia

Professional, Reliable, Efficient, Responsive.

My visa was put in the best of hands.

My partner being Aussie and I being Scottish, we decided to take on the partner visa. It involved a lot of paper work as expected though, immensely worth it in the end. It only took around 3 months from starting the visa process to my visa being accepted. This wouldn't have been made possible without the well experienced visa-go team.

Thank you again Darren and Kimberley for all your great help and support.
