The first time I bought a unit, it worked great for about 10 mos and significantly helped my SOB and pain levels. Then the unit died well within the guarantee period. The co was very late in sending me a subsequent unit or getting back to me when they didn’t. I had to buy a subsequent unit, that one later died and it was forever before they sent me a replacement one. But on whole, I am out almost $900 and they stopped supporting the device quite a while ago, so both of my units are worthless. The people that buy this device are usually disabled, so severely they can’t work (like me) - so we struggle to afford something like this to begin with. The original person/company who developed this years ago sold his company and the purchaser has basically screwed all the purchasers of the device and absconded with the profits - a really nice thing to do to the disabled community! This has been going on for years — since around 2017-2023.

The Hummingbird machine has been vital for restoring some level of cognition to me amid severe ME/CFS. I definitely cannot use it for the length of time suggested nor multiple times a day but use it for 10-15 minutes in the morning 5 days per week. Unfortunately I did not experience the other benefits the company and researchers suggested I would. And my body did respond to the device as an exertion (which is why my time with it is so limited). BUT that increase in blood flow to my brain (and a modest improvement in dysautonomia so long as I don't use it too long) has been absolutely invaluable!

My experience with the company customer service was good as well. I'm brokenhearted to see both that other customers received poor service during COVID and that the company has apparently subsequently folded. I know others who want this machine. And there's really nothing similar for stimulating the soleus in particular--especially for those of use who are very disabled. Please, please come back!!!!

DO NOT BE SCAMMED! I paid for this device in Full on Oct 1, 2021. Payment has cleared but the company has not shipped item. I have called multiple times, only to receive the option to leave a voicemail. Which I have done. I have sent them emails, no response. PLEASE DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY.

vital motion does not guarantee or refund your money back for the hummingbird machine even though you have returned their machine. they have so many excuses to not return your money. they can ship out the unit during covid, but can't inspect it after returning the product, they say because of covid? that doesn't make sense, there are ways to disinfect everything if that's their problem. i would never buy another product from vital motion, the hummingbird machine, or otherwise. i believe the company can not be trusted. i see other people have had problems with refunds too.

This is an expensive scam for people in pain! It did not help me and I paid $400 for it!!! Do not BUY!!!

Device didn't work. Terry Bradley, the customer service rep, stopped answering my emails after he sent return instructions. It's been almost 3 months since I returned it. Refunds promised in 6-8 weeks. I wrote several emails requesting to know where my refund is. Terry never responded. I went to their website. Their 'instant chat' wouldn't respond after I said I wanted my money. Calls go unreturned. The device doesn't do anything. I believe all the awesome reviews can't be true. It didn't work for me, my neighbor or my friend. Scam, through and through.

This company will not honor its 60-day money back guarantee. They have endless excuses as to why they have failed to refund the $402 they owe me for the fibromyalgia treatment device I returned because it offered me no relief. One department acknowledges the device was returned, and another will not. Then, they state that their testing department hasn’t tested the device I returned. Then, I am told they have been inundated with returns and can’t honor their 15-20 day refund promise. I highly recommend that people avoid purchasing this app expensive, useless device.
