Voel Coaches & Holidays Avis 

I paid a deposit to take my first ever coach holiday with Voel to York in October. Then this June I was unexpectedly admitted to hospital for a nine-day stay with heart failure: atrial fibrillation and arrythmia. At 70 y.o. and with various other health conditions there is no way I could manage a coach trip on my own, so I cancelled the trip and was informed I would not get my deposit back. Well, I was offered that for £10 I could get the deposit transferred to another holiday - with my health, like that's going to happen.

I should have read the T&Cs more carefully but as a first time customer it feels like sharp practice and being chiselled, not refunding a deposit for cancellation because of serious health reasons. Buyer beware if your health is not 100%.

Went to Wilmslow & Knutsford with Jack our friendly driver on Sat 21st March.

Wilmslow had classy mkt stalls & designer shops within easy walking distance of our drop off.

Nice vibe & in the sunshine would have liked longer than 2hrs. Artisan breads & cakes & lots to see or listen to the street music. Beware busy traffic crossing road.

Knutsford was nice but on levels so a bit steep in parts. Arts & crafts & charity shops to browse with lots of places to eat.

So many smart sports cars parked or cruising past - well impressed.

A really good trip i would recommend & a small btl of Prosecco included. 🍾 in price.

They do some great trips but be careful if you need to contact customer service as it doesn’t seem to exist!
I have emailed twice regarding what I believe to be average service my elderly mother received and it hasn’t even been acknowledged. It will make me think twice before I use or my mum again. Which is a shame

Its not nice when you book a day trip to Liverpool for the naming of the ship we were meant to leave Dyserth at 9.25 but last min they changed the time to . fr11,30 that meant it was going to be much later getting home not good when you have elderly parents with health issues. we paid £25 each and we decided to cancel because of time changing but asked if we could put money towards next trip.. No we couldn't do that not good Service from their side!

Early start and late finish but great day

Picked up at Presthaven beach resort early in the morning and taken to Holyhead to board the ferry to Dublin. Then taken to Dublin centre and had approx 6 hours free time. In the evening picked up and transported back to original pickup point

Drivers were very good even though some passengers were being disruptive. Also had a full border check on way home which delayed us by about 1.5 hours

Overall a brilliant day

Day trip to Jodrell bank yesterday with my grandson was OK then onto Blakemere village so disappointed nowhere there especially for 2 hrs grandson bored funfair expensive £10 for 12 tokens and rides and hook a duck 3/4 tokens per ride more time at Jodrell bank would be better

We went to Scotland from 18 to 22.12.22. Unfortunately there were not rooms for us,do we were accomodeted at hotel without food, twice a day we had to walk for breakfast and dinner and back
Yes, after complains driver picked us up every morning and evening but did not take us back.
We went to Sterling, the driver didn't take us to see castle and we had to go on foot, though the driver of the other voel group dropped people on the top of hill
We were promised a compensation, at present time got nothing
