Oh look, Giancarlo again.
The account says Great Britain, and we do not even ship there. Trustpilot already removed his earlier fake reviews, and there is still no verified order tied to this account. Apparently he is still thirsty for attention. Same nonsense, different day. Thanks Lil' g.

Instead of focusing on quality, this company decides to focus on lawsuits over a negative review.

We've always focused on quality since we started in 2008. That's why we've been able to equip countless gyms and help those trying to change their lives through fitness. “lawsuit over a negative review” is good clickbait. It is just not an accurate description of the case. Negative opinions are not the subject of the lawsuit, false statements are.

You obviously did not read the case or the emails before rushing in to defend your internet hero, Gluck . We did not sue anyone for an honest opinion, and we had nothing to apologize for in false statements. Agreeing with him does not make him right or the truth .

“Exactly as bad as you heard about” gives your game away. You are in the United Kingdom, where we do not sell or ship, and you are repeating internet gossip as though it were customer experience. Yes, we flagged your review. That is because it is false and abusive, and not based on any real experience. You saw a YouTube video, got emotionally triggered, and decided to join the pile-on. Flagging false reviews is not “underhanded.” It is a normal and rational response to irrational and manipulative behavior

“Never ever go for this company” and “all experience I have with this company is awful” are broad claims, but this review still says nothing concrete about a product issue, an order issue, or any actual service failure. You are also posting from Sweden, where we do not sell or ship. “Bullying people for negative reviews” is not what happened. Negative opinions are not the subject of the lawsuit, false statements are. And yes, we flagged this review. It is false. You are in Sweden and never bought a single thing from us or interacted with us. You saw a YouTube video in Sweden and decided to attack a small company here in North Carolina. Flagging a false review as defamatory is not bullying. Trustpilot choosing to restore it does not make it truthful, especially since everyone knows many reviews on Trustpilot cannot be verified.

You should probably review American law before attempting to lecture anyone on it. The First Amendment protects opinions from government restriction. It does not make false factual statements immune from defamation claims.

The Vualcan Talos is not worth the money. For can buy the REP Ares 2.0 for a lot less. The Talos has a lot for bad faults for the amount you pay for it.

You are free to buy whatever you want, including a REP Ares 2.0. But “not worth the money” and “a lot of bad faults” is just vague complaining unless you can actually identify the faults and compare the products honestly. Start a review
Probably should learn American laws
Probably should learn American laws. Giving an opinion of a product that you have in your possession whether free or not isn’t illegal. It’s the easiest thing to research. If you give a review and do no say anything that is factually incorrect then you are able to say it. I just watched the video nothing in it could possibly be seen as other than opinion of the product they had in their possession. Nothing was hateful, incorrect, or misleading. Everything was clearly visible in the video. I’d suggest publicly apologizing to save yourself….or keep going with the big ego route. Trying to fight something you can’t legally win. Now when you lose you’ll just have to pay the cost of your legal fees and theirs….Seriously how could you not see that backfiring ? Do you truly not know you can give opinions publicly ? You can also give opinion on a companies values and ethics whether you’re a customer or not. Your values and ethics are 1/5 stars.

A legal opinion from someone who watched a YouTube video.
You have no real firsthand experience with Vulcan Strength. You are repeating someone else’s talking points based on a video, not reviewing a purchase, product, or service experience with us.
If you want to lecture us about U.S. law, start with the basic distinction you skipped. Opinions are protected. False statements presented as fact are not. That is the difference.
We did not sue anyone for saying they disliked a product. We have had positive reviews, negative reviews, and mixed reviews for years. We have never sued anyone over a negative opinion.
The lawsuit concerns false factual claims that we say caused real harm to our business. Saying “I don’t like this product” is an opinion. Making false factual claims about a company or product is not the same thing.
You say we “can’t legally win.” If that is true, then there should be no reason for this level of concern. The case will be handled in court, where facts and evidence matter more than internet commentary.
You also say nothing in the video was incorrect or misleading. That is your opinion after watching a video. It is not a legal finding.

If bricks are your training solution, that at least explains the level of analysis and the all caps. You are welcome to train with bricks, but please wear a helmet during your next workout. We have nothing against that approach, but we still prefer opinions from people who have actually bought our equipment or had any first-hand experience with us

We do not believe in suing people for reviewing equipment. However, when someone makes false statements and does so in a way intended to harm our business, that is where we draw the line. We did not spend over 17 years building a real company and brand that has served thousands over the years only to let false statements defame it to further an influencer’s position in the marketing space and line his pockets
