Waggle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving pets’ lives. Our crowdfunding platform serves as a trusted safety net for pet guardians and animal welfare organizations who need help funding essential veterinary treatment. We believe money should never stand between pets and their right to live long and healthy lives. Every year, however, more than a million companion animals are euthanized purely for financial reasons. Waggle’s mission is to significantly reduce this practice, which is referred to in the veterinary profession as economic euthanasia. To ensure every dollar raised supports this mission, Waggle’s platform is 100% donor-secure; we only ever transfer funds directly to veterinarians or certified 501(c)(3) organizations. By reducing economic euthanasia, we not only give at-risk animals a second chance; we ease the financial burden on veterinary practices, rescue organizations, animal control agencies, and community-based social service organizations. Waggle works in partnership with the public, animal welfare organizations, veterinary providers, media, and brands to raise critical funding and awareness. At the heart of our work are individuals facing impossible choices, and donors who step in to help when it matters most. Waggle exists to make those moments transparent, trustworthy, and life-saving.

Thank you so much for supporting animals in need! We completely understand that when you open your heart and donate to an animal's care, you naturally want to follow their recovery and celebrate their progress.
To get those updates, we have to rely entirely on the rescues to provide us with the information. Because these groups are so incredibly busy taking in and caring for the animals, they unfortunately don't always have the time to get in touch with frequent updates—as much as we would all love to hear how the pets are doing! Their hands are often full with the daily, around-the-clock care of the animals in their shelters.
Whenever you are looking for news on a specific pet you supported, you can always check their original campaign page on the Waggle website, as we post updates there just as soon as the rescue is able to send them our way. Additionally, the rescue posts a final update when the campaign has finished, which is emailed to its donors.
If you've created a donor account, you can save the campaigns you'd like to follow and the campaigns you've supported all in one place!

I believe in need for this type of site
I really enjoy using the Waggle website. Not only do I care about eliminating economic euthenasia, I care about the ill and injured animals getting the help they need. I find this site easy to use, and I feel good that the money I am donating is actually being used the help the animal(s) I selected.

Thank you so much for your donation and for helping us save lives! We completely understand that seeing extra fees can be frustrating, and we want to be as transparent as possible about how we work.
At Waggle, we do things a bit differently to make sure your generosity is always fully protected. We are the only nonprofit crowdfunding platform just for pets that takes the extra steps to verify every rescue and veterinary hospital before funds are sent out. We also require invoices to be submitted and reviewed before any payments are sent.
As you can imagine, making sure everything is legitimate takes a lot of time, extra staffing, and operational resources. While traditional crowdfunding sites sometimes leave donors vulnerable to scams, we do this heavy lifting so you can rest assured that your hard-earned money is perfectly safe and going exactly where you wanted it to—right to that animal's care.
Like any nonprofit, we do have to cover these essential operating and administrative expenses to keep the platform running. But we believe in being completely upfront about it. That is why we show the exact breakdown of these fees and an explanation of them right there on the donation page before you hit "donate". We want to make sure you always know the precise amount going to the animal's care, with absolutely no surprises later on.

I love helping the cats and dogs on Waggle! Wiggle is a wonderful website and safe for donating! The pets are mans best friend and part of our families. Its wonderful to feel I have helped an injured, sick, mistreated cat or dog

I am a senior on a limited income and donate when I can. But lately it’s almost everyday. I wish I could donate to everyone that comes along but I am not able to. Could you not send so many it’s just to hard to see them and know you cannot help all of them.

Overall great concept by paying for veterinary services for rescues. The only item preventing a perfect score was the absence of PayPal as a payment option.

I honestly can’t fault them!
I honestly can’t fault them! I recently made a claim after my dog was hospitalised. My claim was processed and approved within 4 days with a lovely personalised message.
The cost of the treatment was a huge personal stress and the fact that it was dealt with so swiftly was amazing!
Outside of the claims process I find their premiums reasonable (though maybe less so next year now I’ve made a claim!) and their online portal is great and so easy use.
