I ordered the largest skip bag for garden waste disposal. It arrived in a timely manner. Once filled I contacted them for collection. 2 men and a small van arrived, there job was to empty by hand the contents of the skip bag into their van! They couldn't do it!
I ended up involved in several telephone conversations and also having to provide photo's of my driveway, skip bag, access etc. Eventually another van arrived and a man on his own has to manually move the contents of the bag into the back of his van. This took time and blocked access in our lane.
I assumed the bag would be lifted the same as a skip, why else would they quote maximum weight capacity?
I wouldn't use them again.

Superb service with great communication. Operator called when he was 25 Minutes away, assessed and cleared all my waste and left everything neat and tidy.

The driver who came to pick up the waste was very friendly and helpful.
Prior to that I had very good communication by e-mail when we were finding out how much it would cost to remove the waste.

Not sure why enterprise skips delivered the skip. Great apart from that

Lauren helped orchestrate a clearance with quite a few moving parts very efficiently. Dean and his colleague were timely, professional and tidy. They communicated well and were personable. Many thanks. I have used Waste King twice and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Easy to book, Collected on the agreed date. It would have been 5 stars if they had sent an automated reply to confirm receipt. When their generic email finally arrived, it informed me I would be charged more than the agreed amount for a fridge or freezer when I'd specifically requested the removal of a fridge and freezer. They need to get their CRM sorted.

I've used Waste King once before and they were great - a Waste King branded team. This time the (small) job was sub-contracted to another provider. The workers who arrived were great but the office staff they liaised didn't want to accept that a small chest of drawers could and would fit under the medium desk, with the same volume so tried to double the cost estimate, which was based on detailed photos and a conversation with Waste King. A small variance I'd have understood but not double.
Update:
I now know Waste King challenged the sub-contractor demands on the day and on Friday, the sub-contractor sent a second van to collect the 'excess' (which never was). On the basis that everyone makes a mistake sometimes and it's what you do to put it right that counts, I've added a fourth star. It can't really be 5 but I'd happily use Waste King again

Waste King is a great company, they were able to give me an accurate quote and book in the collection with only a phone call and a few emails. They kept me up to date with everything and were cheaper than their competitors.

The process from beginning to end was fantastic, the people in the office we spoke to were, friendly, very,very, helpful. The driver , Steve, was amazing, helpful , kind, and with a wicked sense of humour, which was just what i needed today!!! Please, tell your staff, that there isn't anything you could improve!!!
