À propos de l'entreprise

  1. Association caritative

Écrit par l'entreprise

WaterAid's history stretches back to 1981, when on 21 July we were officially established as a charitable trust. In the last 30 years, we have gone from strength to strength to become one of the most respected organisations dealing solely with water, sanitation and hygiene issues. Your money and support has also helped us to influence policy and practice to ensure that the vital role of water, hygiene and sanitation in reducing poverty is recognised globally.

Shameful

Awful advertising and quite clearly a scam. I would not give them a single penny of my money and the cameraman, Mike Craven-Todd and all of the other people that put their name to this should be ashamed of themselves.

Corrupt charity

Corrupt charity. Stealing people's money. Taking water out of children's mouths. Somebody shut this sh*tshow down. You all should be embarrassed that 1 man could do what a whole charity couldn't do for years. What a shame.

Every year a price rise

Another year and another price rise, when will it stop,
( I don't think it will).
Also the annual begging appeal for water aid,
52 MILLION pounds a MONTH,
So where has all the money gone.!!!?.
Directors are on
£75,943 year so yes they need your money to keep coming in to continue their comfortable life style,
Take a look at their bad reviews,

This is a terrible so called charity…

This is a terrible so called charity that is nothing more than a money making business, a begging charity that has multi million pound reserves with extremely rich CEO’s. Their projects have been ongoing for longer than I can remember and STILL they say they need to do more, any other business model would have given up after realising what they propose is undeliverable and pie in the sky thinking.
This business model is nothing more than a money maker that depends on the vulnerability of certain people in society, it needs closing down and any advertising blocked.

We all know this water aid is not…

We all know this water aid is not washing with the people around the world, come clean water aid.
Just like to say ‘these countries do have resources like gold diamond and other things…”It’s just a case of the selfish rich using the poor to make a lot of work at full price.

Sack The Management

Sack the management and get British older business volunteers. Audit all the accounts forensically. And review the reality of where all this money went, and ask the question why the target government are not supplying the needs of their children. There are professional film people in South America, who make films of starving actors, who are good actors, and anyone can buy the same films as water aid show, that's another point to think about. The whopping salaries ! I am not sure whether the amount in the balance sheet is multiplied by 000 but is it 26 Million a year? I still believe that charity should start in the home.

if I could give this advert a 0 I…

if I could give this advert a 0 I would. The plonker who narrates it says they have no choice , they do have a choice stop making babies . Stop begging. if they are human they should learn that if the infrastructure is not there to support kids don't make them. But it's a white supremist thing, they want to show that white people are rich and will still look after peoples of Africa which is richer than the UK any day of the week. Using children to exploit in begging adverts. Its not the Whole of africa , they are responsible for maintaining their country. The money does not get there , too much corruption.

40+ years of this charity taking…

40+ years of this charity taking hundreds of millions upon millions of pounds and still we see the same adverts on tv telling us the same stuff.
I mean what have they been doing for the last 40 years with the money raised? When manager is paid £120'000 wage how is this classed as a charity? Its one big con tugging on good peoples heart strings.

Absolutely disgusting that they are…

Absolutely disgusting that they are allowed to continue as a charity. They are a business who use the proceeds to fund a lifestyle. With the CEO on a 6 figure salary as with all charity’s. They have never ever stepped foot in Africa or observed what’s going on. I have opened a petition on Downing Street to stop these charities. Please sign.

What a pack of scam artists !!

What a pack of scam artists !!! Uncontactable if you want to cancel your donations, they just keep taking the money until you close your bank account. Small percentage of funds go to Wateraid projects [and newsletters], the rest is "business costs." If you want to make a significant difference with your donations, choose another "Charity."
